I just have my furnace replaced by Rob and Jack at McMahon Plumbing & Heating and they did a great job with the installation. They were friendly and quick to get the job done. Thanks to them, we now have heat in our home.
Our call to McMahon for a furnace/heating issue, on one of the coldest days of the year, was the best call we could have ever made. The office staff was helpful and understanding and pointed Jack in our direction to help with our emergency. Jack was professional, knowledgeable and patient. He was able to get us heat until he and Robbie could replace our furnace. Jack and Robbie are a great team - they were friendly, responsible and conscientious and worked efficiently and neatly to replace our furnace.
They were absolutely professional and excellent at their job. Ledi was my service person and he was knowledgeable and did everything perfectly. He got my part for my heater motor quickly. He was like a surgeon, only 30 mins he replaced motor and heat was was working like new!!! He made my New Year! 2026 will be a warm Winter inside my home.
This was disappointing. My water heater died and I called McMahon because they were the ones that installed it for me 10 years ago for $2500. I had a good experience then so I called them for an estimate. They claimed to be crazy busy, it was a Friday. They said the soonest someone could come was Monday. I agreed. Not 30 minutes later, someone named Jack arrived to look at the heater and quoted me $4500 to install a new heater same day. I had the records from my last install and asked if there were other options because $4500 was steep. He offered no other options - like zero. It was $4500 or nothing. I reluctantly agreed and he left to get his tools. I did a quick google search of the price of the water heater. When I saw the price, I called them back right away and cancelled the install. I called another plumber who was able to give me quotes and options on a couple of different brands. I got the installation done same day for nearly the same price I paid 10 years ago.
The technician Ledi informed me the installation of my new heat and hot water boiler for my house will take 3 days to finish during which I’ll have no heat nor hot water in the cold days of December. I accepted the reality and allowed the work to begin. The tech and his helper worked nonstop, no break even for coffee I offered, and the job was finished in 2 days instead. I now have heat and on-demand hot water for my house. This is what I call “under promise and over deliver”. Great job Ledi!!! Thank you for the clean and fast job.
