Maryland Yacht Charters made my birthday celebration so memorable. The sport boat was so spacious even with 10 people on board. Captain Natasha was very knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. I look forward to my next adventure with MDYC. Highly recommend them if you’re interested in a private boat ride from National Harbor.
We had a wonderful time celebrating my husband's birthday. The MD Yacht Charter team was fantastic! Everyone was so nice, professional and fun. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Thank you Warren, Stacia and Jordan. We will definitely be back.
For starters, I was very impressed with the speed in which they responded to any and all questions I had even prior to booking. After booking, the process was extremely detailed with a contract and the ability to accept several forms of payment made it extremely easy. On the morning of our departure the stewardess (Stacia) reached out via text to provide important reminders and was super helpful and responsive. Once I called her to board the yacht, she took charge and took over everything ensuring I didn't have to lift a finger. Although everyone in my crew gets down, trust me when I say that Stacia was right there capturing every moment via video and photo. Captain Kevin was also patient, knowledgeable and cool as a cucumber. We all knew we were in good hands. When I tell you we turned all the way up. This was the best birthday celebration ever. My friends from North Carolina came up and said they want to run it back next year. Definitely will use them again. Thank you for your professionalism and extra client attention. The small things never go unnoticed
Had a bachelor & bachelorette party 9PM-1AM. The crew is AMAZING, the trip was AMAZING! Seeing the Potomac River shores from the boat was beautiful. All the lights made it sparkle. We even caught fireworks when leaving the National Harbor. We danced, drank and smoked cigars and just had a great time. Our Captain, Travas, and stewardess, Shanese, were just awesome. Very accommodating and made sure we were having a good time.
One of our worst experiences ever. 1) The captain asked us to go to north beach with the excuse that he is not authorized to pick us up from South Beach. Apparently, he lied 2) He arrived 15 minutes late, however in the middle of the trip when we started a discussion he insisted that we started the trip at 1:05PM although we started the trip at 1:25PM and we have proof from our Venmo transaction which was at 1:28PM 3) The Venmo transaction had to do with the tip. The captain asked the tip upfront!!!!!! Otherwise he said he’s not starting the trip. ILLEGAL! 4) He didn’t have a kid’s vest, although we had informed them that we’ll be having a 4-year old 5) He was disrespectful during the trip, complaining for everything and he even complained for the chips that WE OFFERED him 6) We asked him to drop us off in South Beach and he threw us off in the middle of nowhere and not on a dock as he was supposed to (picture attached) Finally, we realized why he demanded to get his tip before the trip. Otherwise he would get 1%. And 0 star on this comment if I had the option. We will definitely refer them to BBB. Don’t even think of booking a boat trip with them. Worst experience ever…
