Rafael was our server. He was great and funny. Our food was delicious and hot. As always, Mi Cocina does not let you down.
I had the pleasure of being served by Rafael, and I can't say enough good things about him. From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly attentive—always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, without ever being intrusive. Rafael was not only kind and professional, but also had a great sense of humor that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. He created such a welcoming and fun atmosphere that really stood out. I ordered the quesadillas, and they were absolutely delicious—highly recommend! Between the amazing food and Rafael’s outstanding service, it was a fantastic dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I hope to be seated in his section again.
My husband and I tried Mi Cocina Irving for the first time and had a great experience! The guacamole, salsa and queso blanco were fresh and flavorful and the chips were given warm. The creamy poblano chicken enchiladas were a hit but the vegetarian quesadillas were not as flavorful. Overall, a wonderful, quick, attentive staff and experience! We would go back for their fresh chips/salsa/guac!
My wife and I are in town from Kansas City and this location was recommended to us by the front desk of the Hampton Inn. Now I can highly recommend it as well! We were very happy with everything. I know that sounds funny to some, "everything..." Yes! From the greetings walking through the door, the top notch table service, the food and the management. The food was prepared perfectly. The presentation of the food looked as if it was taken off popular magazine cover. And the taste? Full off flavor in every bite. The owners and management checking in and making us feel really comfortable and wanted. Just fantastic! Check it out if you have a chance. You won't regret it!
What a lovely restaurant! Treated a dear friend to dinner and figured this would be a great spot. We visited on a Tuesday evening around 6 pm. It wasn't too busy or too slow. Our server Andy was cordial and attentive. He recognized we needed time to catch up and allowed us time to do so. I highly recommend the Tacos "De Brisket". These brisket tacos are well seasoned and tasty. The accompanying rice is also a perfect side. And the chips and salsa are quite fresh. I ended my dinner with the flan and it's good. Don't miss out on that.
