I love it here. Specially the employees. Always helpful to me. I like that they take pride in helping customers. The cashier that helped me yesterday and always of course. A special thank you for helping me at the register and put things in bags. Bless your heart. hopefully I get to see y'all soon. I love shopping there. 🙏🥰
Awesome help!! I was helped by idk her name but she helped me grab about 4 yarns from the yarn wall. I should have gotten her name but thanks for helping me! Also shoutout to Ms. Duran Duran for helping me at the register with my rewards account! I realize I have been shopping the wrong way for years 😭 but thanks to her I am finally going to be getting my rewards 🙌🏽🫶🏽 so thank you Ms. Duran Duran I hope I spelled her name right too. Both ladies were super sweet, and patient with me! I recommend everyone to stop by at this location off 290 and Davoma.
I took in some balloons I purchased elsewhere to have them inflated. The gentlemen that helped me was super nice but unfortunately when I was leaving, one of them got loose and flew away. I went back in the store to buy another one, the lady (other employees said her name is JoJo) she has long red/ginger hair, was very rude and very rushed when we still had five minutes until the store closed. As they were inflating one of the balloons that flew away, another one flew away as well. I decided to put the balloons in a bag to not run into that issue again, a customer was nice enough to help me, and JoJo kept rushing the lady as well. I always come to this Michael’s but this type of customer service was unacceptable and I feel very discouraged to come back. If you do go to this store, watch out for JoJo, she is very rude.
This Michael's Store on Dacoma at the Northwest Fwy is the nicest one I have visited in the Houston area. It is clean and well lighted with excellent merchandise presentation. They offer a nice selection of arts & crafts merchandise. Store associates are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The only negative comment I have about this store is the checkout area. It is small and gets very congested when the store is busy
The Dacoma store is nice but a bit small. The staff acts suspicious as if I was trying to steal. I was just walking around because the app shows the item I needed was on a certain isle but the isle didn't exist- the isles are numbered. I kept going in circles looking for the darn isle. A different time I took a few shirts to exchange for a different size. I had my Michael's app phone receipt. She inspected the shirts as if they were worn. The sticker were still on them and they were folded the same way it was when I purchased it. When I ring the "bel" in certain isles no one comes to assist. I had to walk back to the front with the girl who thought I was stealing and kept walking by me. She should have walked by to help me.
