I absolutely love Mountainside Fitness – Paradise Valley. One of the biggest reasons is the Kids Club. My kids genuinely love going there, have so much fun, and are always happy when I drop them off. It gives me peace of mind to work out knowing they are cared for in such a positive, high-energy environment. I truly appreciate this service. I also love the Parents’ Night Out events — they are wonderful, and I honestly wish they happened a little more often because they are such a gift for parents. I also want to highlight the girls in the Kids Club. They are incredibly kind, patient, and full of positive energy. The vibe there is truly special, and I have honestly never experienced that level of warmth and positivity anywhere else. Please keep that high-energy, loving environment — it makes a huge difference for the kids and for parents. The gym itself is great, but what really makes this location special is the people. Brendan from Member Services is exceptional. He has everything customer service should be — caring, considerate, genuine, and truly a people person. He remembers names, connects with you in a real way, and when he asks how you’re doing, you can feel that he actually cares. That kind of authentic human connection makes such a difference. My kids love him, my husband loves him, and honestly, everyone in our family does. I’ve even brought friends who were confused after speaking with others, and the moment they talked to Brendan everything became clear. He explains things calmly, clearly, and kindly — and you immediately feel welcomed and understood. Overall, this gym offers so much more than workouts. It offers community, care, and connection. Thank you, Mountainside Fitness, for everything you do.💪🙏😍
If you are just working out the place is ok. But if you need to use the men’s locker rooms bring your own towel at this point. As for cleanliness the place is always a dump.
Mountainside Fitness is one of the best gyms I’ve been to, and a huge reason is how clean and well-maintained the facility always is!! No matter the time of day, the workout floor, locker rooms, and common areas are spotless, which really shows the level of care and attention that goes into running this gym! The management team does an outstanding job keeping everything organized and running smoothly, and the employees are consistently friendly, professional, and welcoming! Everyone is always willing to help and makes the environment feel positive and motivating. Special recognition goes to the GM, Aly, who does an incredible job leading the team and setting a high standard for the entire facility!! Her leadership truly shows in the overall experience! I highly recommend Mountainside Fitness to anyone looking for a clean, well-managed gym with great staff! 👍🏻🔥
This is a clean mid size gym with dumbells up to 130 lbs. It has one full size punching bag, lots of pull up bars, an outside turf area, sauna, steam, showers, cold plunge, and more. Ryan at the front desk provided impeccable service. I would consider returning to this location.
I have had a membership at Mountainside Fitness for two years and almost two months now and love it! I have worked out multiple times at differentt locations of La Fitness, Eos, Independence Gym, The Village, and even Planet Fitness but find this Mountainside to have the vibe I like! Even though I've been to 8 locations multiple times, Shae is my favorite! The staff are amazing, the gym goers are respectful, the gym is clean and well supplied, red light sauna, steam room, basketball half court, punching bag, massage chairs, separate rooms for classes, and soon to be cold plunge!! There is always cool cars there too which is the cherry on top! I drive 20 mins each way instead of going to the Tempe One (closer to my house) because it really is that GREAT!
