I cannot say enough good things about Patrice! First, she is extremely kind and bubbly (the vibes you need when it comes to anything wedding!). Second, she listens and won’t push any makeup/hair things on you that you’re not comfortable with. I was worried going into my trial that I wouldn’t feel like myself, but I left SO relieved because I felt exactly like myself but 10x more glamorous! I wanted to use my own lipstick bc there’s a shade I love, and Patrice was completely open to the idea. My trial went so well that going into my wedding day, I had zero concerns about how my hair and makeup would turn out. I opted for an old Hollywood look complete with glam waves and even on a hot and humid summer day, they did not budge. My makeup also stayed put, and I truly felt like the most beautiful version of myself the entire night! I actually wish I had more fancy events to go to so Patrice could keep doing my hair/makeup. She is an extremely talented artist and I can’t thank her enough for helping to make my wedding day incredible!!!
OMG I wish there were words to do Patrice and her team justice! They were UN.BE.LIEVABLE. genuinely one of the top moments of my wedding. Every single bridesmaid walked away feeling the most stunning we ever have. Bridesmaid quote “I have been to SO many wedding and my makeup has never been better than this.” Most of us slept in our makeup *party mode* and STILL looked like we just had it done. Amazing communication, professionalism, talent, and just overall fun and enjoyment on day of = MU8. Patrice, you boss woman!!!! We all love you, your fantastic team of talented women, please hang out with us cause we’re going to miss you and your amazing-ness more than you know! YOU NEED MU8 IN YOUR LIFE!!!!!
I found MU8 Bridal through Wedding Wire and am SO grateful I did. Beginning with our initial consult call, I felt heard and seen. Patrice sent me examples of their work and preempted all of my concerns. Her processes for collecting and disseminating information are so well thought out and make it easy for a bride. She puts so much time, energy and love into her business. Brielle did my makeup and it is quite truly the most beautiful I have ever felt. She was so warm and funny and easy to talk to while simultaneously executing the most flawless makeup I have ever seen. It wore so comfortably during my wedding and most importantly, I felt like myself. Bridget did my hair and she knocked it out of the park. I had a vision for what I wanted and she effortlessly knocked out 3 different styles for me to choose from at the trial. I picked my favorite which ended up being a blend of both of our ideas and Bridget killed it on my wedding day and I felt so confident, comfortable, and beautiful.
I found MU8 on the Philly Brides FB group, and I'm so thankful that so many people recommended them that it felt like a sign! It's not always the case that with beauty providers that I have felt seen, and as a result, beautiful. I appreciate that this business honors and uplifts women of color, giving us a space to feel beautiful on our wedding day. I was given glam treatment at every step from signing contracts to complete treatment on the day. They were able to complete my large party so efficiently, and everyone looked lovely. Everyone was so friendly, so kind, and communicative. I wouldn't recommend anyone else in the Philadelphia area!
THE BEST! I've had the pleasure of working with Patrice and MU8 multiple times, so when it came time to pick hair and makeup for my wedding it was a no-brainer! My trial was scheduled a few weeks before the wedding and it was well worth it! I was able to prepare using the MU8 Instagram - picking my favorite hairstyles and the makeup I liked. Patrice also posts very informative stories that I found really helpful before my trial and the wedding! Patrice asked for honest feedback, and although I had very little, she took note of it. Fast forward to my wedding day, and omg Patrice and the team knocked it out of the park! There wasn't a single thing I would've changed about my look!!! I even teared up during my reveal - it was everything I hoped for. On top of that, not only did every single bridesmaid, MOB, MOG, etc. look amazing, they also felt great! Sometimes getting hair and makeup done can be intimidating because you end up looking way different than normal, but MU8's team took time to ask each girl their preference and it showed!! Even some of the pickier ladies were thrilled. I HIGHLY recommend MU8 Bridal Beauty to any bride! You and your girls will look and feel like a million bucks.
