I’ve been coming here for years and never had a problem. Recently I went and got SNS done not even a week ago. I had requested my nails to be square with rounded edges and the tech cut them completely off and gave me all round. Normally SNS takes 45 to an hour but I was in there for an hour and a half. I don’t do any strenuous work, however I took a shower and I came out to see a nail had already chipped and I’m not happy about it. I wasn’t happy to begin with due to my nails not being smooth, there’s glitter poking up from under the top coat and it’s so scratchy and just looks awful overall. She didn’t clean up the sides of my nails or anything either. It literally looks like I dunked my nails in the powder and called it a day. I’m absolutely not happy with these nails and I’ve been coming here for years. Mary has done my nails twice and each time they look phenomenal, I don’t know who did my nails this time but she was younger. I’m not paying to get them re-done because I was here less than a week ago and I’ve tried to like them, I love the color!! But I can’t get past how bumpy, lumpy, round, bubbled up, and spikey they look.. I got them done because Thanksgiving is next week and I’m going out of state for the week. This is embarrassing on the nail tech. I’ll come back with an update if they fix it or not, I’m not paying full price though. That’s insane and I don’t have the money for a full price.
Nail Bar and Spa Lexington, KY is my absolute favorite! Anita is so talented—every design I bring her looks even better than the picture. Her attention to detail is unmatched, and she makes every appointment feel fun and relaxing with her kind conversation. The salon itself is always spotless, welcoming, and has the best atmosphere. I also love their pedicures—the staff never disappoints. I get acrylic on my toes, and they always get the shape and thickness just right. My nails and pedis last weeks without issues, and I constantly get compliments. Between the quality, the vibe, and the amazing staff, this place is hands down the best nail salon in Lexington!
Couldn’t say enough great things about the Salon itself, but especially Anita. She has been doing my nails for years and they are always perfect and exactly what I ask for each and every time. They are always straight, perfectly shaped & the best nail designs/art. Everyone there always makes sure you’re comfortable and happy before leaving.
Absolutely ADORE the lovely people here. Anita usually takes care of my nails but I haven’t had one bad experience with anyone here. Everyone is very sweet and really get to know their regulars. Only place I go for nails and pedicures. If you’re looking for nail art, Anita is a wizard! My lil one always wants some design or art and Anita knocks it out of the park every time! I send all my friends here!
I have been going to Nail Salon and Spa for years. It’s always easy to get an appointment or to do a walk in. Alsa is the nail technician that I currently go to and she is phenomenal at all of the services that I’ve gotten from her so far. Specifically, she’s one of the techs who is up-to-date on current trends, such as gel X and airbrush art. She’s also good at shaping my nails so that they look good even though I prefer a shorter style.They never pressure me to get something I don’t like and can stay within my budget. They are good about educating me about the health of my nails and different types of nails which fit my active lifestyle and can have at work. They are also good at matching colors between hands and toes. This salon is a relaxing experience and is always clean and it’s not too cold.
