We made a reservation two weeks in advance to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The dining environment was immaculate, the cuisine was beautifully prepared, and the level of service was truly outstanding. As we were dining with our 13-month-old baby, who cannot consume any seasoned foods, our server Roman thoughtfully consulted with the chef and arranged a plate of fresh celery and carrot sticks specifically for our child. This level of attentiveness and care was greatly appreciated and speaks volumes about the professionalism of the service team. Although the lunch service allowed for a slightly shorter dining window, it in no way diminished the quality of our experience. We left thoroughly satisfied and look forward to returning in the future.
Dinner here two days after Christmas. Need a reservation because this place is small. Still had to wait 30 minutes, had drinks at the bar. Bartenders short you on the liquor, saw him do this on every drink he made. Got a table with grill. JJ and Darren were excellent, explained everything. He ordered the beef from the menu and lobster tails, got 4 tails which were really good. The wagyu beef from the buffet was better, very rich. The sashimi and nigiri were awesome, my teenage son had 20 pieces. Big complaint was the king crab legs were not good. Tough dry, very little flavor. I was most looking forward to the king crab. Snow crab was good. They had a promo on their membership so I renewed. We go to the chubby cattles in Atlanta and in Vegas. Expensive but worth it for lobster tails and great quality wagyu beef.
High-quality food. This is the first time I've been to an all-you-can-eat restaurant without an upset stomach. I have a seafood allergy and survived. I can tell that the food is not contaminated. The service is good. I visited on Oct. 17 and was served by Roman and his partner, the one with a bit of long hair guy who loves to make funny comments and jokes. You get what you pay for. Clean ambience, premium food. Premium service. We spent $250 for two during lunch. Can't wait to go back in a few weeks.
We were first greeted by the lovely host Noelle. Answered all the questions we had. Then our server Darren was amazing. Super attentive, felt like we were the only ones he was looking after. The A5 was amazing striploin was the favorite. They had toro nigiri and the king crab was so good. Also get the Portuguese egg tart. Surprisingly was one of the best tarts I had
I had my birthday here on November 14th 2025. We endured a crazy storm to get to downtown LA from Covina. As fun as the ride over was the enjoyment I had at Niku X. As a chubby group member I felt welcomed the second I got there. Let's start with the service. Our server was a cool homie and so was everyone else. I was noticed immediately for my dodgers gear I had on. Go Dodgers! Everyone liked that. As food the food. I had nearly 1 of everything at the buffet, same for my mom who dined with me. Most notable was the delicious sea food. We ordered about 5 sides, loved the Oxtail potstickers and the exclusive lobsters. Every single wahyu dish was up to par. I cooked them each either 30 seconds to 1 min 30 for an a delicious butter melting medium rare taste. The grills were excellent here, never had any issues! There is a huge selection of sake and soju. All ranging from cheap to fancy. I had 1 glass of cloudy sake & 3 of the beers they had available. Im very familiar with Japanese craft beers so I was able to find 1 unique beer I've never had here. That's always a plus to me. Thanks for having me for my birthday!
