Possibly the most obnoxious place i have ever had to deal with. The seam on my cushion burst after just 5 months and was told it will cost me £20 because i supplied my own fabric(bought from one of their suppliers) but was happy to pay it as i needed the cuhion putting right. I took the cushion into the older gentleman, he said 'he would fix it and to call back in thirty minutes'. Upon arriving back at the store. I could hear lots of sniggering in the back room, i popped my head around the corner and overheard two men having a conversation about what they would like to do to me. "That black one would get it" was the last thing i expected to hear from staff working at such an established and reputable company. It was a very alarming experience, and i will not be returning.
Though we didn’t end go ahead with a headboard order for reasons 100% outside Nixon’s control we I felt it was important to leave a review because they were absolutely fantastic to deal with and we will absolutely be back for other projects. From the start, communication was clear, prompt and friendly. They took so much time to understand what we needed, offered thoughtful solutions, and were really knowledgeable about the practicalities of design, fitting and installation. They were also very willing to work with our budget and adapt to what we were asking for. In the end, a fluke discovery at our separate bed supplier meant we could use the original headboard supplied by them which was the only reason we didn’t proceed with Nixon. But I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them based on communications, help with design, quotes, and we’d absolutely go back in the future for other projects. Naturally we can't speak to their finished product but felt their first/early impressions and helpfullness warranted a positive review as this is so often the most complex part of any project.
Brilliant. Fast, efficient, professional service 👌 at a very competitive price. My suites look better than they did new 25 years ago. Frank was great at picking out the material and colours. They are exactly what I wanted. Can't recommend them more highly.
Very pleased with my newly covered sofa and scatter cushions ( same colour )moss green .this is the 4th item of furniture I've had recovered.👌
I have just had two very old leather couches fully reupholstered. I chose two different shades of beautiful velvet fabric and wow they look amazing. Frank and his team have completely transformed them, they now have separate cushions instead of the original fixed ones, so they look completely new. The service provided and communication can not be faulted, I can definitely recommend this team, great customer service. These great couches are so comfortable I love them and am really happy that I chose Nixon Upolstery to do this job. The photos don't do them justice but had to share.
