I stopped after work to pick up a bottle of wine and the guy working there was so rude I just left. Happy to spend money somewhere else.
Love this store. Kyle is the best. His recommendations are spot on. Keep in mind, if you're looking for the mainstream brands, this is probably not my first choice, but if you want good and interesting, then definitely go. Kyle recommended this amaro to me today and let me say, it lives up.
Nice selection of wines and liquors. It could be because I'm from the West Coast, but there were a lot of brands I had never heard of, but of course that could be the point of the store. I was very intrigued by a bottle of gin from Kenya. Would loved to get a bottle to take home. Great location right in the heart of downtown, easily walkable from many of the downtown hotels.
I stopped in today for the first time. Really great selection, great pricing (some things were a couple bucks cheaper than I've seen elsewhere), and the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. I left with two bottles, and I can't wait to try them. Extra points for the turntable playing vinyl.
I visited this store when it first opened. Since then, the owner has made so many amazing improvements to their business. They now have gift cards as well as a wine club. It's perfect for the wine lover who'd like to save a couple bucks. They have more than one option for the wine club. Each wine is picked with love from the owner, Kyle. They even have a cocktail club for those who enjoy spirits. Kyle is extremely knowledgeable with his inventory. Any questions or pairing suggestions you need, Kyle is the guy. If you haven't checked out Noble Root yet, you've been sleeping on a gem of a liquor store. If you're lucky enough, you may even spot Julia Roberts the dog waiting to give you kisses.
