I casually went into Tech Repairs looking for another motherboard power cable because the one I had was too short for the new PC tower I was replacing. They were kindly enough to provide me with an extender cable at no extra cost. I could see now what great service they are providing for Jax Beach community. Overall great experience. 😀🙌🏾
Will was wonderful to work with, & I'd strongly recommend this company to fix computers. He fixed my left bracket which affected opening & closing my laptop as well as the left bottom of my screen. He fixed the computer much quicker than I expected, & he's very nice.
Will installed Windows 11 on three Lenovo laptops. He completed a screen repair and installed a new hard drive along with a new battery. Because of his superb technical ability, I didn't have to make a significant investment in new laptops. Will takes pride in providing prompt service and he keeps you well informed. I ONLY go to Nothing But Tech now. Mike and Will are the GOATs. I had never built a computer before in my life. I've just lived with laptops up until now. I brought in a RTX 4090 with a micro ATX case, a 12th gen i7 cpu, and 64 GB of RAM. Mike assembled my computer for me and saved my ASS. It's been a while since then, and I'm writing this review from my new computer, which works BEAUTIFULLY. He even showed me which parts didn't quite fit in my PC case, so I was able to go to Best Buy and exchange them super quickly for the ones I needed. Coincidentally, the ones I actually needed and that DID fit were ones I had originally been advised by people on reddit and by pcpartpicker to get in the first place. I had initially tried getting slightly different parts than what I'd been recommended, and so them not fitting was a rookie mistake on my part. If I had tried to assemble this thing myself, I definitely would've gotten super frustrated and tried to force these parts in to no avail until they broke or something. Mike saved me probably days of frustration. He even showed me how to open up the PC myself and pointed out that I should buy a "sag bracket" for my GPU for a few bucks on Amazon, to help support it. I had never even heard of that before. I now feel much more comfortable taking care of a desktop than I ever dreamed I'd be able to (even recently upgraded my RAM to 128 GB by myself), and it's all thanks to Mike being a total pro. He installed the operating system for me, advised me about the tradeoffs of updating the BIOS vs not, and even helped carry the PC out to my car. In the past, Mike has also replaced my iPhone 5S's phone screen and battery for me, and fixed a broken side button on my Samsung Galaxy S7, making both phones good as new when I thought they were completely beyond their life. Gotta try to bring in some old radio and boombox stuff and see if they can fix that up next.
These guys do really great work and they're extremely honest. Will in his team will always tell you if it's fixable or it's time to replace something. I recommend using these guys for everything from wiping a device clean to fixing the glass on your cell phone. Here are a few pictures to show you the before and after.
