Choosing Orion to train our 2 dogs was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. If you are considering Obey Dog Training, book it now!! He trained our two dogs for 3 weeks (2 weeks of foundations and 1 week of off-leash recall), and he delivered on every goal we had and more!! Atlas was a serious leash puller, and Nike is extremely fearful of people. Our goals were for them to consistent heeling on one side so we can walk a stroller on the other, strong off-leash recall for camping and everyday life, and real, sustainable tools to manage Nike’s fear since we frequently have friends and family over. Orion nailed all of it!! The transformation in both dogs has been remarkable. On their final day, Orion brought them to our home and trained my husband and me, which was invaluable. He is patient, clear, and incredibly effective at teaching humans how to properly reinforce the training. He uses the e-collar as a training tool, not a forever solution, and took the time to fully explain how and when to use it responsibly. Because of that, we feel confident continuing the work at home. More than a month later, the training has held beautifully. Even when we slipped a bit on leash heeling (we were too lax on that training), Orion was immediately responsive and gave us exactly what we needed to get them right back on track. Everything else they learned has truly stuck. They are extremely responsive to us based on his training. What sets Orion apart is his philosophy and genuine love for dogs. He trained our girls together to help with Nike’s fear, safely exposed her to new environments like Home Depot, and gave them the individualized attention they needed. Throughout the entire 3 weeks, he was communicative, sending progress videos and photos, which gave us total peace of mind. Just as importantly, his support didn’t stop when they came home. Anytime we have questions, Orion is incredibly responsive, supportive, and invested in our continued success. If you are considering training, stop looking. We recommend Orion without hesitation!! Our dogs, our daily life, and our confidence as owners are better because of him.
We can’t say enough wonderful things about Orion at Obey! When we first started, our puppy wouldn’t stay in his kennel without throwing a fit. He was rambunctious, full of energy, and didn’t listen to a thing we said. Fast forward to now—at just 5 months old—he is the best trained dog we’ve ever seen. His obedience and behavior are incredible, and everywhere we go people compliment how well-mannered he is. The transformation has been amazing, and we are so grateful for the Orion’s knowledge, patience, and expertise. If you’re looking for someone who can truly bring out the best in your dog, this is the trainer you need!
Orion is incredibly talented! He took our crazy puppy and transformed her into a well mannered puppy! She is now healing on our walks, even off leash! No more pulling or getting tangled by her exploration. She will stay on her bed the entire time we eat a meal. She no longer counter surfs!!! The list goes on and on. He loves these animals and is so talented with them and it shows when you get your fur baby home! I also love that he shares the journey as well as follows up once you have your pup home again!

I brought my 4 month old puppy and 11 year old forward aggressive dog to Orion for training and boarding. What he was able to do with both was nothing short of amazing. I can now walk both of them together with little to no stress. He's extremely patient with the dogs and it's clear that he cares for them. Orion has come out to my house on several occasions to work with the dogs on issues at home, which has been really helpful. I would (and have) recommended Orion to anyone, no matter your dog's age.
