The experience was amazing. The scenery was unreal. I enjoyed being able to feel no pressure as a beginner and being taught the basics and being supported along the ride. Also really enjoyed that we had pics taken along the way! Thank you guys! We will definitely come again

The coastal trail ride has unreal views — riding along the bluffs and then straight onto the beach feels like something out of a movie. The horses were calm, well-trained, and clearly well cared for, which made the ride relaxing even for people who aren’t experienced riders. The staff was friendly, patient, and gave clear instructions without rushing anyone. They kept the group at a comfortable pace and made sure everyone felt safe the entire time. Timing the ride near golden hour was a huge plus — the ocean, cliffs, and light made for amazing photos. If you’re looking for a unique Bay Area experience, a date idea, or just something memorable to do with friends or family, this is absolutely worth it. One of those activities you’ll still be thinking about days later.
We booked a private trail ride for an event, and the experience was truly otherworldly and better than anything I had hoped for. This is coming from someone who trained in equestrian for five years and tried all kinds of horse experiences across Europe and the US. Everything, from the team (Juan, Anabelle, and Bo) to the horses (Hope, Rose, Loki, Zeus, and Bo’s horse), was spectacular. Prior to booking with Ocean Staples, I spent two months researching, reading all the reviews, scanning Reddit, Yelp, and social media, and ended up going with these guys, and I’m glad I did. This ride is completely safe for beginners (we had people in our group who had never touched a horse before) as well as experienced riders. We started with check-in, then had a safety briefing, followed by a short lesson around the arena before heading out to the cliffs and the beach. We also went through a tree tunnel, and it was magical. Out of all the things I’ve done in my life, this was one of the most memorable and beautiful experiences. I am especially grateful to the team because they truly love these horses (and the two little goats) and take excellent care of them with love and kindness. Please bring carrots and apples to give to the horses.
We did a trail ride here. Lexi was an amazing guide! She took us through a thoughtful introduction getting to know our horses and made sure we were comfortable before setting out on trail. It was a beautiful day with unbeatable views, and throughout Lexi was an entertaining and helpful guide. Would definitely come back!
I had the most enjoyable experience this morning at Ocean View Stables. I booked a trail ride and from my first interaction, knew it was going to be amazing. I had the opportunity to meet Lexi, who gave me an excellent introduction to my horse Zeus, safety precautions and general information about the upcoming ride. After an initial couple rounds in the arena, we set off for our ride and throughout the entire time had such great instruction and conversation. I felt extremely safe and comfortable with Lexi and our horses the entire time. Overall, it was such an amazing experience with scenic views. I will definitely be back! Thank you Lexi for your time and dedication to these beautiful animals! You can easily tell how infested you are in their well being and the clients experience.
