My boyfriend and I were searching for an Omakase experience in Miami that didn’t break the bank - and Omakai did not disappoint! The Omakase was delicious, and prepared in front of us. The fish was fresh, and we loved every dish in the selection. Natalia provided excellent service, we wish we lived in Miami so we could come back every week for lunch!
An incredible hand roll experience! All of the employees are attentive and nice but Nat was my server and she took care of everything. The hand rolls are obviously decadent and fresh. You cannot wrong with any selection. My favorite was the Negi Toro and Blue Crab hand roll. Will definitely be back. The only issue here is parking may be tough
If you consider yourself a sushi purist or just someone who chases the perfect bite, stop what you are doing and get to Omakai Hand Roll Bar immediately. Miami has its fair share of flashy, over-the-top dining spots, but Omakai is doing something refreshingly different: they are prioritizing execution over ego. The food was a masterclass in texture. It takes the decision fatigue out of the equation and lets the kitchen flex their muscles. The pacing was impeccable.
We had an incredible Omakai experience with Rocio and Chef Pedro. Rocio was so attentive throughout the night, and Pedro made the experience interactive and fun. Every dish had its own standout flavor; from the Bronzino Mentaiko and Salmon Sashimi with Ponzu (so good we asked for extra!) to the Salmon-Miso, Blue Crab, and the sweeter Wagyu Yukke. The Toro Taku and Baked Scallop were also unforgettable. Amazing flavors, great service, and overall an experience that felt like a great deal for the quality.
Delicious & so fun. $34 for a 7-course omakase is unheard of. 6 hand rolls, one sashimi & it was all so yummy. If I lived in Miami I’d be here once a week at least.
