I was so excited to receive my Once Upon A Book Club Summer Reading box! “The Martha’s Vineyard Beach and Book Club” novel was on my TBR list, and I was thrilled to find it in the box. I can’t wait to dive into the book and open the surprises:) The only negative I have is that the adorable box was a bit mangled during shipping :( I previously received the Christmas box and am hoping that there will be another one this year! Thank you for the fun and joy your boxes bring to this book lover 😊
I am so happy with my first purchase from “Once Upon A Book Club.” The attention to detail is amazing, from the shipping box to the author’s notes, the surprise gifts, and even a themed recipe. The special edition of “Ricochet” with the sprayed edge is beautiful. I showed it all to my book club members since we are reading “Ricochet” for next month and they were all impressed. It is so much more and better than I expected.
I started the subscription after an order for my daughter and completing my Masters degree. Now I have time to read and I love having reviews ahead to decide if it's within my interest. The box is so fun to receive and so thoughtful are the gifts you get to look forward to!! It's forcing me to read faster so I can get my prizes!! If I had a teenager I would subscribe for the young adult too. Such a fantastic idea.highly recommend for added fun in collecting your books.
I love the concept of reading a book I love,but then am put into the story even more with the gifts. Like you get to have what the characters have,use,want,need, etc. Each item is perfectly set around the story. My first box was so exciting to see all these gifts, and then a big thick book to go with it. I knew this experience was going to be fun. Getting to that first gift took forever it seemed. But when I did, I felt the book come alive. I just knew that I would love to try this again with another book, another theme. You just can't read any other way,after you experience these books.
I absolutely loved my first bookbox, I was very hesitant because of the price. I didn’t want to end up not liking the gifts, and I was afraid that they would be cheap. I was totally wrong, the gifts are the perfect mix of bookish and useful, and definitely worth the price. I bought one of their ready-to ship boxes, I got “The Book of Cold Cases” by Simone St. James. It was a great read and I’m glad I have it on my shelf now. I can’t wait for my October subscription box to come in!
