Okay. They chipped after a week and I got Biogel. I also paid extra for Russian manicure and saw no difference in the way my cuticles got pushed back.
We stumbled in here coming back from Botta Botta spa and had a wonderful mani pedi. It was affordable and very very good. A perfect way to leave relaxed with great nails! Highly recommend.
I’ve been to this salon several times before and was always happy with the results. However, my visit on November 25 was extremely disappointing. I had booked an appointment to remove the Gel-X set that they did about a month ago and to get a simple gel polish on my natural nails. I was so excited because my nails had finally grown long enough for a nice almond shape. Unfortunately, the person who did my nails completely ruined them. Many of my nails now have a visible “ring of fire,” which is not normal. I had to ask her several times to stop because the drill was burning and she was filing onto my skin, which still feels sensitive even now. On top of that, my nails ended up uneven, way shorter than before, and bumpy because she didn’t properly remove the previous gel. I was so upset that when she thought it was time to apply the color, I told her to stop and that I just wanted to leave the salon. Thankfully, a kind technician named Wendy stepped in and did her best to fix the damage. The picture I attached shows my nails *after* Wendy tried to save them (she herself seemed unsure how to make them look better). To make things worse, they still asked me to pay the full price because “they cut my cuticles.” I ended up paying $25 for removal and shaping, but honestly, I shouldn’t have paid at all for the bad service i received and the fact that my nails are ruined. I left feeling really sad and disappointed.
This is my third time here and I am never disappointed. I did my nails with Lisa. I did the gel x, She is so amazing. She helpled me with so many nail polish color we ended up founding the perfecr match. I really recommand her and the salon. The staff are so friendly
Let me just start by saying that I have been coming to this place for almost 2 years, atleast once a month and have always had great experiences. Were my nails always perfect? No. Were they close to perfect? Sure. I’ve been satisfied practically every time. But I went to an appointment this week, and I have never had my nails look so bad. The manicure itself = horrible. My cuticles were not done at all. The shape = ok. She did not ask me if the shape was okay and kept on doing it. After I saw that she wasn’t fixing it, I had to tell her to fix it to my liking. The color application = The pictures speak for themselves. Not only was the colour applied horribly, but because of my cuticles not being done, it looks even worse at the base. Not to mention, my nails were not wiped down, and I have bumps of dust and bubbles visible in my nail polish. And no base coat! Straight to color. The technician was unpleasant and rushing the entire time. This is not what you expect your nails to look like after leaving a nail salon in the old Montreal. My co-worker waited for me outside and as soon as I stepped out he asked what happened to my manicure. I am so disappointed by this experience.
