Very great staff, the server and manager were gave great service. Portions are very large for the money, definitely come hungry. Fish was fresh as well. Would recommend
I dined here for the first time and am already dreaming about going back. I love Japanese food and Osaka is definitely high on my list of favorites! Service is wonderful, food is fresh and flavorful, and we even got a complimentary appetizer which was simple but refreshing and tasty. The spot was cute and quaint. I couldn’t recommend it enough! Surprisingly it wasn’t very busy for a Saturday night. Parking was free and convenient.
Our experience at Osaka was wonderful. The sushi was incredibly delicious, truly the best we have had in Houston. The staff was very kind and welcoming, and even though it was our first time there, they treated us exceptionally well. We both left with full stomachs for an excellent price. We are also very grateful for the complimentary dishes and even the dessert, which really made our night. We definitely want to come back. Highly recommended!
Let me start off by saying the waiter seemed like the owner. Very much seemed like he was running the show in the best way possible! Asking about different things and answering questions without hesitation easy and honestly how most places should be. The food was really good I had the Mt. Fuji roll and the Shaggy dog roll, both of which were great, the rest of my table had the chicken hibachi and although they said the sauce was a little sweeter than others there were no complaints and all the plates were cleaned (other than a few onions). The steamed rice was cooked perfectly as well. The water that you order comes out in a pitcher and it is lemon water, which I am sure you could ask for plain water if you would rather. The atmosphere was really nice, clean and modern. They play some music and although it seemed a tiny bit loud for part of one song it was not anything too crazy and fit the looks of the place. Overall the place has awesome food, the service was the best I have had in YEARS, and the vibe/feeling of the place was really chill. P.S. the seats were really comfortable if this is something that really matters to you. I did not have to readjust at all.
We happened upon this gem and I can say this falls in my top 2 Sushi spots!! This is an easy no fluff sushi spot and I will definitely be returning here. The service was impeccable and our waiter was great as well. We got a shrimp appetizer and some ice cream on the house!! It was very sweet of them. I would highly recommend coming here
