Wow wow wow. Got the crepes and chefs salad to start. The seafood fra diavolo, grouper, and halibut special for mains. And tiramisu for dessert. Everything was SO SO good. They had tons of daily specials which all sounded great. Great service, clean, and cute interior. They also grow fresh herbs right in front of the restaurant!
The food was delicious! The salad was fresh and well seasoned! I forgot the name of the dish but it was very tasty! I had a drink and it was great! The service was great! Prices are reasonable! It's nice inside but a little tight. The meatballs were not the best. The sauce was mainly on the bottom and dry overall. I would try the restaurant again. I had to take a star off. The was a small black hair on the side of the meatballs when they came out. The server quickly replaced them.
First off service here is amazing. All the staff treated us very well! Food was equally as delicious. So hot and fresh! Lasagna came out is a very hot dish. So amazing and tasty. Salads were fresh and crisp. Definitely a place I will be back to visit.
About a month ago we were dining at another local Italian restaurant and asked the server if he knew where we could find tartufo (an Italian dessert). He suggested we try Osteria as he thought they had it on the menu the last time he dined there. We noticed they have something similar on the menu called The Bomba so we decided to try Osteria. Let me say, this is now my favorite Italian restaurant in Greensboro. The Wild Mushroom Risotto is my favorite dish. Since that first visit we've been three more times and I can say the Wild Mushroom Risotto is consistently perfect. My husband has tried the Wild Boar Rague, Boscaiolo Fettuccine, Lamb Shank with Risotto, and Strozzapretti and I sampled some of each. All excellent. We've also tried some of their specials like the Stuffed Zucchini Flowers and the Mushroom Puree Soup. Both absolutely delicious. Although we've not tried everything on the menu I'm convinced you cannot go wrong with anything you order here. The atmosphere is intimate and romantic. The servers are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I highly recommend this establishment.
