Our 2022 taxes were taken here over 12 months ago to be amended and 2023 to be filed and they still aren’t done. They even supposedly marked it as “high priority“ when they transferred it to a new preparer last November. I was feeling confident then that it would finally get done. I was told they had everything they needed & had no questions for me. But it’s been “crickets”. Since then I have tried following up numerous times and get no response or update on the status. I don’t know if this place is a total scam or what? Do they even have living preparers working here? It would seem not. For the love, I just want my taxes done!
Recently retained Paul Hood for small business. In the past years I never really was able to get answers to a lot of tax questions from other CPAs. After one video conference with a Paul Hood CPA, I was able to get some insight on this upcoming year. Representatives are friendly and knowledgeable. I feel better going into the next season.
