I have the same problems with selling here as I did other consignment stores, BUT the employees are nice here and they pay a little more than average, so 4 stars. The problem is that, if you're selling women's clothes, I can't stretch this enough, wait to have a female associate sort out your clothes, if possible. Straight guys know little about women's fashion so they go strictly by the demand list, which consists of certain very niche items. They don't have an eye for potential, and don't use their own judgement. Even if the item is in demand, says if a pair of jeans is indeed from the 2000s and look it, unless it screams Y2K in your face, like with the big ol raggedy Hollister tag or something, they won't recognize it and won't take it. I sold with a guy and got like $20, the very next day came back with the same clothes the guy turned down, and some more, sold with a girl, got $75. And this is a very common problem. I've been selling for over 10 years so I know what I'm talking about lol. As a buyer, I always enjoy going through the racks here. The selections are huge, you can always find something. The vibe is chill. Though... they said they don't take "damaged" clothes, but trying to sell a shrunk sweater for $20? 💀
Vibes were great - good music at a good volume, staff was friendly and helpful, dressing room is large and cute, selection was vast and prices were the best of all the vintage/resale shops on Westheimer (except the national one that is dreadful environment). Found some super cute items at great prices.
Great selection of pre loved clothes. Found some great brands like FP for a a good deal. Pricing is on par for most resale shops in the area. Definitely recommend stopping by for some cool vintage finds.
I’ve been here several times and to be honest it’s never a good visit. I recently came to sell some goods that I know would have sold for a good buck. Only for the person to accept barely anything and extremely lowball. They state they look for certain clothes but their selection is questionable as you could find any of the shirts found in the store in any goodwill or Walmart. This is my second time as I tried to sell some nice Harley boots previously, only for them to tell me there is no space for boots while their selection of men’s boots was also questionable. I’m trying to not sound rude but come on. I tried to find some decent clothes as I accepted store credit and didn’t find a singular thing. Maybe it’s good for other people but for me, just not even worth the drive unless it’s the other stores on the street.
This place is a great place to find some clothing that is decently priced. I really like how they organized everything and it makes the whole process of finding your size of clothes so much easier. They update their wears pretty often. The staff were very friendly and directed us where we needed to go. They also have a dedicated section for different types of jackets separated by materials. As well as a dedicated shoe section. Overall this place is a really good place to find good clothing.
