I can’t say enough how much I love peachtree peds! Dr Winn has such a calming aura and I love how he handles my little one. Whenever we have an issue or question they don’t hesitate to offer advice or make an appointment for us to see if everything is okay. Only reason I wouldn’t suggest them is to selfishly want them all to myself haha. I’m glad we found them.
My issue isn't with the doctors, but with the unprofessional office staff. We were not able to become patients here. Another doctor's office suggested I call this practice just to get a list of local specialists for my child. When I called, the staff member didn't answer my question. Instead, she explained what their office does (diagnostics only) and talked down to me about the difference between diagnosis and treatment. I told her I already knew that and was simply asking for a list of referrals. After that, her tone changed. She sounded irritated and said they only give referrals to their own patients after a diagnosis. She then claimed they don't even keep a list and that they only give out referrals to their own patients. I understand that offices have rules, but I was shocked that they wouldn't offer any help at all to a parent trying to find care for their child. The rude attitude and refusal to provide even basic information felt very unprofessional, especially for a pediatric office. The call was a frustrating and unhelpful dead end.
Terrible bedside manner, with Dr. Wiskind. This is sad as I was his son's teammat, when growing up, and expected more. They brought in students to practice on my 9 month old, without asking for permission. Oh by the way they have owed me $450 for a year now. I have $450 of credit if we took our daughter back, but can't get the money. Don't come here. So many other great pediatricians in Atlanta. We are still contemplating legal action, in regards to the students practicing on my daughter without the doctor present. Will update if I ever hear back from the practice. I hope I don't have to file a lawsuit to get a response.
10/10! I’ve been taking my daughter here since she was born and I can’t say enough good things about this practice. Every visit has been a great experience! Today I called because I was concerned about my daughter’s health. I got a call back within an hour and was scheduled for the same day. Dr. Brown addressed my concerns and answered all my questions! We love her! She is the best!!
I called on a Monday/Tuesday to set up an appointment. I was told to send my children medical records and call back on today which is Friday to complete appointment. Mind you the staff never mentioned that they do not accept children who are not vaccinated. I explained that I have an affidavit which I have always used for schools, previous doctors, and etc. The staff member as well as the administrator Cheryl Welch(spell check) was so nasty. Cheryl was only trying to take up for the staff member instead of acknowledging there is an opportunity to provide better service by letting new potential patients know from the beginning of their policy. I asked that an email be sent the same way I sent my kids medical records of why they ca not be seen. She told me their lawyer will contact me. I would recommend she listen more than try to over talk and show some compassion when her staff makes these type of mistakes. I have wasted a week for nothing. The way she handled the situation I wouldn’t want to bring business there. Now, that I have read more of the reviews it’s proof that they have a really bad reputation when it some to their staff.
