I just had the most amazing experience with Jonathan — a truly talented microblading artist! From start to finish, he was professional, meticulous, and incredibly attentive to detail. I’ve been coming to Perfect Frame for almost 5 years now, and even though I have to fly halfway across the country, it’s absolutely worth it every single time. I had pretty severe acne scars that left part of my eyebrows hairless, and Jonathan completely restored them. He’s so talented, my eyebrows look amazing afterwards, and I feel so much more confident and younger (and I looked great on my wedding day!) Dimitri is awesome. He’s been there to guide me through everything, from the initial consultation to booking, and he always makes the process so easy. Both Jonathan and Dimitri are super friendly and just great to be around. Whenever I go to LA, they always make sure to give me recommendations for restaurants and places to check out, and even give me small plants or samples to bring home. It’s always such a pleasure to see Jonathan and Dimitri when I go back for my retouches. Perfect Frame is the only place I’ll ever trust with my eyebrows. Can’t wait to book my next trip to see them again!
When you get a procedure like this done, you aren’t just tattooing the make up, but they experience as well. I thought that the interaction I had with Jonathan was very shallow. And while the work done was decent the interaction did not leave me walking out satisfied. I believe what I would have appreciated more was for him to give me some space, room and time to look at what he had drawn up. Instead he was towering close by as he handed me the mirror. Very transactional service not built around customer satisfaction. More like someone who provides decent works so they expect you to be satisfied with the process. Will not be returning for a touch up. For $1000+ a better experience should’ve happened.
Had Jonathan for microblading and it was well worth the price. I’ve always hated my light and sparse brows and he made my dreams come true. He really has mastered his craft and I suggest going to him! He was so patient when I wanted to keep changing the shape for 45 minutes too.
I think it's so important to support people's businesses, especially creative or art related. So here's my official review for Mayra who was an absolute gem of a human and professional who gave me not just brows but the brows of my dreams. For context, I've always felt so embarrassed by my lack of brows. I've been filling them in since I was 14, way before it was trendy to do so. Because of it, I've made so many mistakes. 2016-2017 was the worst years (take a look at the last pic). Also, over the years, I mastered my eyebrow game, which was massively painted but well shaped (second to last pic). There wasn't a day I would take 20 minutes on just my brows, and if I didn't get it right, I'd have breakdowns. Everyone in my life knew they needed to give a heads up before going anywhere because I needed time to draw it on. After following Mayra for about five years, I took the initiative to try this out, knowing that she was skilled with a strong portfolio and that she was probably worth every penny. What I didn't know was how much this would impact my life for the better. I am not kidding or being dramatic when i say this has been a game changer for my entire life. My partner noted how much confidence it's given me and how I carry myself differently. These days, I head to the gym without thinking if my face will melt, I wear little to no makeup during my work week, and my going out routine is done in a pinch. I can do last-minute plans without a meltdown. I feel like the best version of myself and it's all thanks to a little ink and some deeply raw talent. Myra not only heard my story and needs, but she also made recommendations based on her knowledge to get me what I didn't even know I wanted (a bold but natural look). I am so grateful for her work and also her energy. Plus the perfect frame studio was just an absolute vibe.If you're thinking of doing this, she is 100 percent the only artist you should consider and perfect frame is the only place you should visit.
