I love the staff and how they go out of their way to help with whatever I need. The older Indian gentleman that I see every time I come in is always ready willing and helpful. He takes pride in everything he does. Always a positive experience.
Staff are very nice mostly. Be very careful when buying live fish here. I recently purchased 3 otocinclus for algae control. I have lost almost half of my babies since introducing tha new fish. I breed guppies and mollies so im not a beginner to tha process.
I ran into an issue with purchasing my dog food and had to return to the store. The employee that helped me was so kind and helpful! When I got home I realized I bought the wrong food altogether so I had to return. She remembered me as she was leaving for the evening and offered to help me get the right food. She even offered to call another location. Luckily we ended up finding the right bag on a different shelf. I really appreciated her help! I wish I got her name for this review. Hire more good hearted people like her!
I normally don’t take the time to leave reviews, but I felt it was necessary to share my experience at this pet supplies store today. I came in to purchase dog food for my pet and was initially greeted by a cashier who told me someone would be at the front shortly to assist me. As I waited, I noticed the same cashier offering to check out other customers, asking them, “Are you ready to check out? I can get you right here.” However, she never extended the same offer to me, even though I had been waiting longer than some of the others she approached. When I brought this to the manager’s attention, instead of listening and addressing my concern, she attempted to twist the story — claiming the cashier had offered to check me out, which simply did not happen. It was disappointing to feel dismissed and unheard, especially as a paying customer. While I can't definitively speak to anyone's intent, the disparity in how I was treated compared to other customers gave off uncomfortable racial undertones that I couldn’t ignore. No one wants to feel like they’re being treated differently — especially in a place where they're spending their money and supporting a business. Customer service should be consistent, fair, and respectful to everyone, regardless of background. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience today. I hope the store takes this feedback seriously and addresses the way guests are treated going forward.
This review has been a long time coming… I absolutely love coming to this location and especially having my dog, Benito, groomed here. He’s been getting groomed here for almost a year and exclusively with Elizabeth. She’s aweeessoomme! I’m certain anyone else would be great too, but Elizabeth is our go to groomer. Everyone at the store is so friendly, love seeing Benito, and some of the staff even remember/ know him by name. They definitely make us feel extra special. We found our place. 🩷
