One of the best Italian bakeries there is!! High-quality baked goods with fair prices and friendly service. The tiramisu was divine and the cookies are all tasty and fresh. Will visit here whenever we are in this part of Milwaukee!!
This place is truly special. I stopped in for the first time in 15 years and was warmly welcomed in by Shima, who was patient and gave excellent recommendations when asked. When I ordered two cannolis, she asked what topping I'd like the ends dipped in. Pistachio, chocolate, cherry or pecan. I couldn't decide so I asked her to surprise me. She said "hmm.. Ah hah! I know what to do...." To my astoundment, when I got home, I noticed that she dipped every end of the cannolis into a different topping, allowing me to try all four. It absolutely made my day, maybe even my week as I keep smiling back on the memory. Acts of kindness like this are so special. I didn't think to take a picture until after I started munching on the Pistachio end. What a sweet surprise and a sweet treat. Shima, you are wonderful! Thank you! Also, Vanilla coconut dips are my favorite cookie, and a close second is the chocolate dipped Amaretti.
Peter Sciortino Bakery is an amazing business and located on Brady Street! This bakery has fun and flavorful baked goods and sweets, and this is a 'must stop' on your morning routine [cup of coffee in hand] to work. Complimented by great customer service and great prices, Peter Sciortino Bakery is a great place to shop, and the positive experience makes every aspect of your Brady Street visit so much better!
What an amazing neighborhood bakery. Bought a dozen donut items for a gift and some cookies to go. Ate a cinnamon bun (very large in size). The Italian cookies are out of the park ! They stopped to take care of the kids and were super nice. Highly recommend!
Stopped in as part of a Brady Street Food Tour. Have had their bakery before, and has always been good. Love to look at all the amazing and delicious cookies. The Cannolis were very VERY good.
