I went to the car wash yesterday and after exiting the car was I got a brand new crack along my windshield . I brought it up to one of the employees and he confirmed it wasn’t there before entering the car wash. Brand new car no typical Alaska cracks yet. I asked if they were going to replace the windshield he said yes but the manager was not available. I went there the next day i was informed they were not going to pay to replace the windshield due to they believe the damage was cause by “thermals”.they don’t believe this damage was caused by their wash despite going into the car was with no damage and leaving with a new large crack. So be aware this type of damage can happen using this car wash.
I don’t go here often as I wait a long to get my car washed or do it myself at home in the summer. I like Pink Elephant however because it is an actual car wash and not this laser wash type stuff that is everywhere. When your car is actually dirty a laser wash won’t cut jt! THIS place has the actual brushes that go all over your car after they do a quick brush prior to entrance. I can appreciate the hand dry at the end as well. $12 dollars for basic wash is not terrible at all for all you get. Full wash with full service indeed! Car comes out brand new each time! Accept no substitutes for actual car wash in Anchorage.
No complaints here. This place has been here for decades. They have upgraded and are awesome. They offer military discounts for single washes. The offer a monthly option also.
I have tried other car washes and this one if be far the best. For me the touchless car washes suck unless you just had a car wash in the last month. I usually get car washes like once a year and the only car wash that can tackle that mess is the Pink Elephant. It is not even that much more expensive than the others and it offers so much more; alot of contact for the cleaning and the hand drying at the end are my favorite features. And I have noticed that they have added lights since the last time I went so it is now more fun for the kids.
