I had been going to Pinko off and on for the past couple years. For the most part I've had great experiences with the ladies that work there. They do pedicures really well and every technician I've had have been good. They are a small shop but do really great work.
Been loyal to Pinko’s for 3 years now. Han is my go-to gal (patient and takes her time, doesn’t rush designs or shaping, funny & sweet). But every nail tech in there are skilled. Nikita, daisy, Francis are all great at designs too. They do get busy so don’t be surprised if you are asked to wait 5-10 minutes. You can’t rush art and quality. Pedicures are great too. They have a disinfectant machine too ensure their tools are sanitized and safe.
Love it! I just moved to the area and I’m so glad I found a new salon so close to my house. I just do walk-in gel pedicures so I get a different person each visit. I haven’t been disappointed once! They’re always nice, efficient, clean, and take the time to care for me in a way I really appreciate.
Just wanted to start off by saying I am just writing this to INFORM future clients of my first time experience here. I came to “PINKO nails” in hopes of finding an acrylic ONLY pedicure and builder gel manicure. I will say service is very timely and they sat me immediately which I really appreciated. I had came in with an inspiration photo for my birthday which they told me would total out to $187. Almost $200 for these services was a bit much, so I then asked for a solid color (white) for my acrylic ONLY toes and a solid color for my builder gel nails, I made that very clear and I then asked for the price, which they discussed upon themselves and then told me would total to $148. Yet they proceeded with adding extension nails to several of my toe nails which I did not ask for, I was too shy/intimated to speak up and by the time I realized my toe nails werent done properly, it was too late. I felt like it was intentionally done even though I made it very clear 2-3 times when we talked, that I did not want extension nails before they started working on me. This experience was interesting and a bit uncomfortable for me as a new customer. I felt like they wanted to up charge me for a service I did not want. If you’re a potential new customer please be weary of this behavior. I asked for a menu sheet before leaving and seen that their most luxurious pedicure is $72, which they had charged me for although I asked for basic solid color acrylic pedicure, even then they did not provide the full service described on paper for the luxurious pedicure I still payed for. Builder gel nails start at 55 so I’m also unsure how they charged me $75 for my basic solid color manicure as well.
i used to LOVE this place. this has been my go to salon whenever i am home and it’s where i recommend to all my friends as well. i went back a couple of days ago and i normally never post a bad review but i felt like this was bad enough to where i should say something. the nail lady’s name is Niki. I do not trust her and this was the worst experience i have ever experienced. i normally get gel x with extensions but this time because of work, i got builder gel on my natural nails. i have NEVER in my life had such a bad job done, its chunky looking, super fanned out, not painted well, and the they are so so thick and make my nails look like i got my nails done for free. it felt like the lady was not experienced in using builder gel at all and blamed the “thickness” on my nails being too short but i have had much better nails done everywhere else with this length so that is not an excuse in my opinion. i spent $80 and also tipped because i love this salon but later regretted it when i called and asked for a full refund. they asked if i wanted to get my nails done again for free, but i saw with some reviews that it would be a coin toss of if it would be done better the second time around. i also live an hour away from the salon and expressed that as well but they still said no refund. this is not my fault but i was rushing on time when i got my nails done that i could not stay another hour for them to fix their mistake. i am so disappointed. i thought i finally found a salon worth consistently going to (ive been going for 3+ years) but it has made me question if i would want to ever go back…
