This place is AMAZING! It's honestly one of the best nail salons I've ever been to. The best part about it is Thao. She is wonderful, and she is the main reason I'm writing this review. She always does a great job, and she is so, so sweet! I'm so thankful to have found her. Additionally, the salon owners are also very friendly and customer-service oriented, and the salon is very clean!
I’ve gotten a gel pedicure here a few times by a woman named tweety. She acts annoyed about the whole process. I have leg hair and I think some techs are thrown by that. But we are in Portland… Sometimes she files a little bit of my toe skin, but man she does a mean pedi. Flawless and it lasts. She didn’t lotion my legs last time, but whatever. I always walk out of there laughing about the whole thing, but happy with the work itself.
The old woman was so annoyed that my fingers didn’t do what she wanted. She kept twisting my hand hard and making noises. Then cut me up bad. She was so rude and mad. Little does she know I have had 5 spine surgeries and my nada don’t work well. Never has that happened to me and I get mani and pedi’s every two weeks
I have come here many times for pedicures and always liked them. I figured they’d be just as good at manicures but unfortunately I just received the worst manicure of my life today. I showed the tech a picture of what I wanted and asked if she could do it, she said yes. I would’ve preferred her to say no if it was above her skill set but instead she pretended like she could. When it was done I was pretty shocked and just told the man that takes payment that I won’t be tipping and won’t be paying extra for the extra color. I told him I’d be going home and removing the polish immediately. Please just be honest about your skill set, don’t pretend you can do nail “art” if you can’t. See pictures. The 1st is what I asked for, and the rest is what I got. Along with a bunch of nail polish all over my fingers and palms.
Very friendly and helpful service in a very sanitary salon. Made an appointment online for a pedicure, wasn’t sure what to expect. When we arrived, we checked in, then selected the nail colors from a bin of very confusing samples… or from the rotating polish stand! We were then directed to our seats, which were massage chairs with foot basins that had fresh sanitary liners. The massage chairs were great, but the display for the remote was broken in mine which made it a mystery what i was selecting. I also didn’t know anything about choosing the right nail polish, when asked if I wanted varnish. There was a slight language barrier, but another employee quickly jumped in to help. The basic pedicure was pretty good. My water was a bit cool, and I was too ticklish for some parts, but my toes were painted so neatly and overall it was a very relaxing experience. It included a foot wash, cuticle trim, scrubby leg massage, and some callus removal, then nail trim and paint. Would gladly go back, it was great for a first-time pedicure.
