I had a dental infection that needed to be drained and I was in so much pain. The from desk lady with the beautiful red hair was very professional, fast, and had such a welcoming attitude. The nurse Ann and Dr. Siler-Fisher were both so professional and kind. They were fast and effective. I walked in with pain on a level 9 and left out feeling so much better. I think it's important to acknowledge those who are great at their position. Thank you ladies. And for the bad reviews I see on here, try to not allow you pain and frustration blind you to great help. Nobody deserves to get a low review just because you didn't like the quoted price. They don't set the prices. Again thank you ladies. God Bless
I visited Post Oak ER Urgent Care early Monday morning around 630 am for an Achilles injury. The check-in was fast, efficient, and most of the staff were exceptionally kind. I genuinely appreciated how quickly I was seen. However, the evaluation itself was disappointing. They told me I needed a CT scan, even though CT scans don’t show tendon tissue. They quoted me $500 for a CT scan, a splint, and pain medication. I asked whether they could perform a Thompson test (a basic exam to check for Achilles rupture), and they flat-out refused. Instead, they suggested that I go somewhere else to get an MRI—which they don’t offer, despite trying to sell me services that wouldn’t help. One other note: most of the staff were great, but Grace seemed very new and not familiar with standard HR decorum. She asked a few inappropriate personal questions that were unrelated to my visit, which made the experience uncomfortable. Overall, the facility is fast and kind, but I don’t appreciate being sold expensive services that don’t actually address the medical issue. If you need real orthopedic evaluation or sports injury care, you’re better off going elsewhere.
I visited the Post Oak ER on Friday night. I received very kind and excellent care there. Everyone was fast, helpful, and extremely attentive. They transferred me smoothly to Memorial Hermann. I want to especially thank Ms. Grace at the front desk, the X-ray team Ms.Whitley, Nurse Shawn, and Dr. Travobis for their wonderful care.
I was sent to the ER due to a possible miscarriage. I arrived feeling hopeful, but before my final results came back, I already felt defeated. The receptionist and my first nurse were friendly and kind, which I truly appreciated. However, when it came time for my ultrasound, the technician was extremely cold and harsh. She didn’t introduce herself when she entered the room—she immediately began giving instructions. During the ultrasound, I asked if she saw anything, and her exact response was, “I mean, you came in bleeding, so you should already know.” I was already feeling immense guilt and was completely alone, and this interaction broke me. I understand that nurses and technicians experience a lot in the emergency room, which can make it easy to become numb to patients and their circumstances. Still, I hope this experience serves as a reminder for staff to be more mindful of their empathy and responses when caring for patients—especially in moments as sensitive and heartbreaking as this.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone! From the moment I walked in, the care was efficient, compassionate, and done with dedication. Ms Grace at front desk was a blessing! The staff for kind hearted and supportive! The procedures were done smoothly and precisely. Even got a sweet gift when I left! If I had to, I would go again!
