Delightful tea shop with smartly packed teas of every kind. Can't wait to try the first flush Darjeeling I found! Picked up several boxes for gifts. Nice counter person also. Try to stop in when you are in town!
I asked ChatGPT5Pro to recommend a good black tea shop in London that offers tea tastings. This place was its top suggestion. Surprisingly, it was correct! They also have an excellent selection of green/oolong/other teas from Eastern Asia and India. Their Japanese tea accessories are of a high quality, even though the range is limited. I thought I could only find them in Japan. It would have been helpful if their teas had Chinese character labels for identification.
I’ve been in twice now in the last year to purchase tea, both as gifts and for myself. I know nothing about tea and have relied on the staff’s suggestions and input. They are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The boxes and labels they’ve designed for the teas are very beautiful, and I love that they’ve posted the origins of each tea on their website. I will be back!
The tea is just sublime! The customer service was wonderful too. An important point: I think the price to quality ratio is excellent. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in London.
Excellent service. The store was not opening when we arrived as we didn’t checked the opening hours. However, the staff opens 30 mins earlier for us to check out the tea. He took time to explain different tea and made a few recommendation. Good varieties of tea available and store is very organized. I would highly recommend if you are around the neighbourhood.
