We had the best trail ride! I’ve ridden horses my entire life and can say they take great care of their horses, the facility is super well kept, and the instructors are friendly and beyond professional. They were super accommodating when booking us too which was really nice. 10/10!
I highly recommend trail riding at the Poway Equestrian Center (San Diego Trail Riding Company). My child and I took the 1.5 hour trail ride with the instructor Gabby, and had a really nice ride on trails surrounding the property. We had some riding experience (lessons/camps) but even if you have never been on a horse, you will be fine. We felt comfortable and safe on Gypsy the little Mustang, and Nick the Palomino. The facility is beautifully maintained, and the animals are lovingly cared for! Thank you Gabby for a wonderful morning!
Went for trail ride on 2/11/2025. Had a great time. Been about 15 years since I’ve rode a horse. Was easy to book and easy to find location. Was only rider during that time frame so got a personal experience. Kaity was very helpful, knowledgeable and had a great personality and attitude it really made for an enjoyable ride. The horse I rode (Maverick) was very well behaved. Will definitely recommend and check back in to ride again sometime. Thanks 🙏
My love surprised me with a romantic horse ride with a picnic at the top of the mountain. I got the pleasure to ride Nick, while my love rode Arizona, Our wonderful Guide Gabby was on Aztec. All the horses were super sweet. We learned along the trail that they also have a AIR B&B to rent.. We will definitely be back. The whole experience was wonderful, we didn't want to leave
My bf surprised me on my first horseback riding adventure. This was such an incredible experience! I was very nervous at first and Ernesto did a fantastic job at explaining everything and making me feel extremely comfortable. This was a beautiful route and so relaxing. The scenery was gorgeous and we got lucky and were the only two on the ride. Hats off again to Ernesto, he made the whole experience so much fun! He made us laugh, and taught us all about the horses. I rode Cadillac who made me feel like a pro by doing most of the work haha. I would love to do this again and would recommend to this to newbies and beginners, and also more experienced riders. 10/10!
