Mr. Flores and Mr. Salazar are awesome instructors! They teach the kids the fundamentals and develop them. They have a GREAT balance of taking care of their r wellbeing and also challenging them. I highly recommend being your kids and family to learn martial at PO1.
I have been going there for 2 years now. I love the teachers and the community of people. They teach us self defense and discipline, but it is all done with kindness. Every woman/girl should learn how to defend themselves. I love these classes.
My children have been at this martial arts center for almost three years and have learned a tremendous amount. I am beyond happy with the entire team. I can't express how wonderful the instructors are with their students, and how grateful I am to have found the perfect martial arts center that meets my expectations.
My son has been taking classes at Power of One for 7 years now. Mr. Flores and Mr. Salazar have always been patient, professional, firm yet kind and always make sure that the kids are having fun. It's a very positive experience, and great for all ages. I would highly recommend Po1 Martial Arts to anyone!
The Power of One Martial Arts is fantastic and has helped our daughter Helena gain confidence, power, and poise! Everyone there is kind and open. We’re a gay family and it is an affirming space where we always feel safe and valued. Heck, our daughter loves it so much that my husband and are are gonna start taking lessons soon too! We’ll be a full on karate family! You won’t find a better and more professional and welcoming space to be healthy in body, mind, and spirit! Come join us all!
