I’m happy we chose presidential. Rinard was extremely professional, kind and knowledgeable. He fixed our hvac unit out in the cold when it was 15 degrees. Thank you! When your representative arrived, I asked him a question regarding the heat pump and he told me that he was not a technician. That he was just there to provide an estimate. After inspecting the heat pump and air handling unit, he has to see the thermostat and the breaker box. Once there we were unable to locate the breaker for the heat pump. So I called the previous owner and asked him where could I find It? While on the phone with him, he explained how he spraying. He use the heat pump and he Thought that it was OK. I explained to him that it was. A little dated And the R 22 refrigerant could not be replaced because it was forbidden. Your representative continually Put himself in our conversation In the background telling the previous owner that it was over 20 years old and needed to be replaced. After locating the breaker box you representative Mark asked me if I was renting my house which kind of made no sense for a renter to purchase a heat pump. He continued in his condescending way to tell me that my heat pump was going to fail and it needed a new tubing for the refrigerant and A plethora of other problems that existed. I believe he noticed I was getting a little irritated With his behavior and he tried to soften the tone. I had several questions about the different heating units and he answered most of them professionally. However, from the time I met him at the door, he exuded negativity. I don’t know if he handles all customers in this way or was it just me! I felt a little offended and was glad to see him leave. Needless to say, I don’t think I will be purchasing a unit from your company. I initially met with Juan who walked me through the replacement of the boiler. He explained everything I needed to know, including financing. He was readily available for my questions about the whole process, which was appreciated. They were able to order and install in a very quick time frame. The installers, Jose, Richard and Walter were wonderful. They were total professionals and took the time to walk me through everything, including the new thermostat. Pleasure to deal with all of them.
Updating my review. Try to make this brief. My AC broke when our 90 year old great grandmother with heart problems was going to be staying with us. Like most American's we are living paycheck to paycheck. They came out, repair is going to be 600$ that we dont really have. Sign up anyway because we have to get it done. They call back, were able to take just the broken part off of the larger part and replace just that, price now only 200$. Awesome, Amazing, couldnt be happier. They come out to install. System is completely out of coolant, leaking somewhere. System was being maintained by american home shield, google news videos about them for their story, but basically system breaking down was expected. Back to presidential, who i trust at this point. New system,. Middle of the line option 14,000, but they can get it installed before granny is with us... So we go further in debt. Free check ups for a year. They call for first check up scheduling. Awesome, they are on it.... Guy inspects it..... Multiple thousand dollar upgrades that i should have considered before install that NO ONE EVER MENTIONED.... Multiple follow ups about getting these done. Are you kidding me? I didnt have the money in the first place, i got the middle of the road option to at least put my mind at ease that it would last a while... 6 months later, "oh, you should have gotten this; you really should have consider this; cough up another couple grand" No thanks.
100/10 experience with this company. They were actually the second company we called. We needed our entire AC system replaced which completely died in March. The first company was so unorganized and hard to schedule with, it was month 2 of no AC before we finally decided to give these guys a call. They got someone out within a week to give us the estimate (they actually could have done sooner but our schedules didn't allow for it). Marc was nice,quick and clear about everything. It was free as well. He drew up two estimates for me to pick from, explained every single thing and cost. He went out of his way to get us as many discounts as possible as well. Once we were ready to schedule the installation, they got us scheduled within a week. They promised a one day installation. Brian and his crew showed up promptly at about 830am and immediately got to work. I was honestly impressed they actually got it all done in one day. It was a total AC replacement with a few extras added but they were done by 6pm. Incredibly nice, answered all our questions, made sure everything was working perfectly. We still have one more thing to fix with them but we went ahead and got their great warranty plus membership. Everyone was super nice to deal with, like Gabriela who walked thru scheduling and payment. Cannot recommend these guys enough!
