Emma was my physio from February - November 2025. I'd been out of fitness for approximately five years, and aside from excess weight, I had developed very clear imbalances in posture and body function, with some accompanying soreness and movement difficulty. From the beginning, Emma was insightful, friendly and non-judgemental. In conjunction with some manual therapy and dry needling, she provided targeted exercises to integrate into daily routines, in my case often focusing on the glutes, legs, and core to address the imbalances. These were very helpful, frequently alleviating symptoms in the short term, and building strength and flexibility over time. During this period I also started training with a PT, and Emma offered further guidance for how to approach it safely and effectively. Overall, I'm now in a position to continue applying the knowledge she imparted, progressing with fitness and returning to sport. In summary, I would definitely recommend Emma and Pure Physio.
Emma is an amazing physiotherapist who has helped me through some very painful issues. In my experience, she has been particularly adept at very quickly deducing root causes to then start immediately effective treatment. She has also given me both preventative tools to prevent further injury and relieve minor issues that occur from time to time. It has been a few years since I've needed to see a physio for these issues, and it's due to Emma's expertise.
Really happy with my experience here! Andrew helped me so much with my injury and I felt real progress after seeing him (after years of putting things off). Jayke was also amazing, his massages made me feel human again 🤣. Both were super easy to talk to and made the whole process less stressful. Maddy and Charlotte at the front desk were always super friendly and helped me with any annoying questions I may have had. Always nice walking in and seeing their smiling faces and having a lovely chat while I wait. Such a great team all around!
Kate is the physio angel you didn't even know you needed! Kate was recommended to me by a family friend, and I am so glad I found her. I went to Kate with what I thought was a knee injury from running earlier this year. Kate quickly identified what the source of the issue (like, literally within a few minutes) was and within a couple of days of doing the recommended exercises, I was already feeling so much better. Flash forward to now - not only has the pain gone (and stayed away), Kate has totally transformed my running (for the better). Kate goes above and beyond just fixing the immediate issues. She as a holistic approach that is focused on long term outcomes and preventing future injury, with a focus on giving you the tools to self-manage so you don't need to come back. She was always so lovely to deal with and non-judgmental. I cannot recommend her more highly.
I’ve seen Kate for multiple running-related issues over the past few years, and have had fantastic results each time. Kate takes a genuine patient-centred approach to treatment, working from an agreed goal that sets the focus on a real-world outcome. Her expertise shines through in taking time to get to the bottom of what’s causing injury (even when it’s not immediately apparent) and then working through multiple approaches to pin point the most effective response. What’s really stood out is that Kate will keep fine tuning the treatment as it progresses to continually enhance the outcome, and push for a lasting improvement. I’m grateful to have had the benefit of Kate’s treatment and happily recommend her to anyone looking to overcome an injury or just improve their form.
