I’m not gonna lie I’ve never been impressed by a cinnamon iced coffee in my life….until today. I had one of the best coffees I’ve had in the 9 years I’ve lived in San Diego today from this place. Had to leave a review.
I usually get their blueberry muffin as it was once my favorite snack in the area. But when I got this brick, I asked for another and was told it was probably that one which got caramelized.. 2nd muffin was worse. I ordered an iced coffee with lite ice, but got a burnt coffee full of ice... This isn't the first time this has happened either. The only difference is that this time the barista and his unemployed friend started making fun of me for having a problem with what I paid for. This place is a dime a dozen, finding a new spot won't be hard.
My friend and I decided to check out this spot since we love supporting local businesses. We both ordered plain cold brews, and I added a shot of espresso. The cold brew was great—smooth, flavorful, and not bitter at all. Unfortunately, the service left a negative impression. The two staff members working that day came across as dismissive, though we initially brushed it off, giving them the benefit of the doubt. Later, while sitting outside and enjoying our drinks, I politely asked where the restroom was. The barista responded, “It’s only for customers.” This was surprising, considering I was holding the very cold brew she had just prepared and handed to me. The coffee was great, but customer service matters just as much. Because of the experience, I don’t see myself returning.
A good place to work and hangout. Has different areas suitable for sitting inside and outside, also alone or with accompany. I had a Princess Peach and loved it.
Cool spot that's loved by the community. Great spot to hang out and people watch. Coffee was great, had a basic drip coffee and it hit the spot! Sat at the bar w/ open windows looking out. There was also someone cooking Filipino food outside plus a few vendors, so there was lots to do or view. Loved the Halloween decorations in the hall. Fun place!
