I don’t usually leave reviews and I always try to be understanding with services, knowing that not all places can help in every case. However, my experience at this clinic was uncomfortable enough that I felt the need to share it. From the beginning, I made it clear that English is not my first language and that I speak and understand only a little. I offered to use my phone to translate, but I was told that it wasn’t possible because these were delicate matters. Given that, I asked if I could call my partner to help me with communication, and I was told yes. My partner was called and was already on the way. While he was arriving, the person assisting me continued speaking to me in English, and I responded using the translator on my phone, explaining what I wanted to achieve. This dynamic lasted only a few minutes (less than ten), and even so, they quickly came to the conclusion that they could not help me. I even asked if there might be any option using technology, and the answer was again no. Despite the fact that my partner was already on the way to help with translation, the consultation was closed abruptly before he arrived. I ended up leaving the place while my partner was just coming in, which I found unnecessary and inconsiderate, especially after having looked for alternatives to facilitate communication. I want to make it very clear that my frustration was not because they told me they could not help me. I fully understand that not all patients are candidates for certain treatments. What was difficult for me was the lack of explanation and professional guidance. I explained my situation in detail, including a previous surgery, how things have changed over time, and what I do and do not like about my current result. I even showed photographs. However, I was never told whether what I have is fat, fibrosis, or skin laxity. I understand that the clinic may not offer treatments for fibrosis; however, they do offer procedures for fat and skin laxity, and that was precisely the reason for my visit. Instead of a clear explanation, it was simply mentioned that “maybe I needed another surgery.” When I asked which surgery, I was told that they didn’t know. This was confusing, especially because my surgeon has previously explained to me that I do not need a facelift or another surgical procedure due to my age and condition. The consultation ended without a clear explanation, without alternatives, without guidance, and without proper closure. I left feeling unheard and disrespected as a patient. I believe that even when a treatment cannot be offered, human treatment, empathy, and a clear professional explanation make all the difference. In my experience, that was what was missing.
Anne is the best! She listens to what you want and delivers every time. The front desk staff is always incredibly nice too. I love to recommend Radiance to everyone, it’s always a great experience.
I’ve been seeing Katie for many years, and I couldn’t be more grateful. She’s knowledgeable, honest, attentive, and always a joy to talk with. Thanks to her care, my skin has never looked better. I’m also grateful for Radiance and the excellent services they provide. Truly the best.
I have been going to radiance for more that 10 years. Katie always has great knowledge and very honest. The whole staff is great! You can just tell they all love eachother. Taylor has done my injections and is an artist. So good!
Laser treatments of sun damaged skin on my face and head have given me a more youthful appearance. My skin is healthier. I feel good knowing the treatments make my skin better and improved. People notice and comment on my looking good. I tell them Radiance is the place to go.
