I’ve gotten my vehicle repaired here 3 times in the last 5 years and it’s been amazing every time! This shop has the best prices and services in town. They may take a little longer than other places but any smart person knows that’s only because they pay attention to detail on the work so that you don’t have to come back. Before I brought my vehicles here, I used to get ripped off from other places. They either charged more than they should have or they charged cheaper and did crappy work and I always had to take it somewhere else and ended up paying more anyway. I’ve recommended this place to all my friends and family and they are always grateful that I did.
I would say I hate to provide this business with 1 star because they have serviced my vehicle and others vehicles that I have referred but this last experience was truly unacceptable. The owner doesn't need to respond because as you can see from the other negative reviews the attitude in the response is the same attitude you receive in person. Please note this negative review is not based on the service you receive from the mechanics but from the young lady that's responsible for providing quotes, feedback and status updates. I took my vehicle to this location two separate times for semi major repairs and had a great experience however I went back earlier this week because my check engine light was still on from a repair a year ago and the codes that were coming up were the same codes from the previous repair. When I took my vehicle in I was pleasant and explain what was going on and the young lady was very pleasant and kind and let me know they could pull the receipts and let me know what we would need to do to determine the cause of the check engine light. She asked that I text her the most recent diagnostics that I received along with the previous reading so that they could compare the two. I sent all the requested information and left my vehicle. I received a text message from the young lady at 10:08 am letting me know that the original parts from the last repair were no longer under warranty. I provided her with a explanation of the check engine light being on and just provided responses to her questions and she explained that time is important under these circumstances which I understood and then she says "no excuse will get me free parts". I wasn't asking for anything for free I just wanted to resolve the check engine part, I provided her with responses to her questions about the previous repair. She explain what would need to be done to determine what was causing the check engine light to be on and told me that it would be $408 for them to complete the check and labor. I made the assumption that this $408 was for the check and the labor to complete the repair but boy was I was wrong. They charged $408 to complete the assessment and this did not even go towards a repair. Later that day I sent a text asking for an update and was told that she had left for the day and I needed to call Rene to get an update. I called Rene but there was no an answer so I had to wait until the next day to get a response. The following day I called at 12:05 pm because I had not heard from anyone and was placed on hold and then told that they were still completing the diagnostics and that they were unsure how long it would take because it's an extensive repair. I attempted to explain why I was asking because I had a funeral to attend out of town and just wanted to make arrangements to get a rental if that was something I needed to do. Since I am not familiar with vehicles and wasn't getting any clear answers I asked my dad to take over the situation and asked him to call to get a better understanding of what was needed. They told him that they could just put everything back and I could come get my vehicle but by 1pm the assessment was complete and I received a call and was told that there was a small leak in the engine that would need to be repaired along with a coil and spark plug replacement but she would not be able to provide me with a cost until Monday. I said ok and went to get my car. I text her and asked her the total amount because I was going to allow my dad to finish the transaction and that is when I discovered the $408 was only for the testing and no repairs. I notice a tire issue after leaving and I called and asked a basic question and was spoken to with attitude and told "we know how to handle vehicles because of people like you and you people do this" She told me to never come back and blocked my 82 year old father from calling. Since you have a problem with people that look like me you shouldn't have a business in a neighborhood with people that look like me. Beyond unprofessional!
