Not a friendly place, depending staff, and dealing with questions and when seeking advice. Avenue is now our go to bookshop; cosy, welcoming, friendly, and a good range; no request is too hard
A wonderful book store and a great team. I was visiting Melbourne in November and wasn't sure what to buy for 2 children. One of the team made suggestions. She was really helpful ( sorry, don't know her name) The recipients are delighted! Thank you
The selection of books are nice for me as they always stock what I’m looking for. Visited today to get a present for a friend and was glad to acquire the entirety of the gift in one stop as the store doesn’t just stock books but a variety of nice gifts. The aesthetics of the store is really nice I love how the books are displayed, as well as the variety of manga. The customer service was really friendly and I’m grateful it doesn’t close too early as it meant I managed to get my shop in after work before the store closed.
Great selection in a cozy space right in the heart of the city. Friendly staff, well-curated titles, and always something new to discover.
I came across this charming bookstore a while ago, but made a mental note today to take some photos. It’s really sweet and quiet inside, so you can find a nook to read a chapter or two. Great range of books and there are often books across a range of topics on sale. I love the personal hand written summary or a specific books it’s reminds me of the staff picks back in the blockbuster days. Lots of seating on offer through the store. It’s hard not to pick something extra up while you’re in line waiting to pay for your item. A must visit.
