We’ve been using REM Air Conditioning for years, and they continue to impress us with their outstanding service. Our technician, Bobby, was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly. He made thoughtful recommendations about what we needed without any pressure. REM has always been reliable, professional, and honest - qualities that are hard to find these days. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for dependable AC service!
Everyone I interacted with was nice, still I can’t help but feel scammed. I called because my unit wasn’t turning on, they said the service call would be $110 and if there was a repair the fee would be waived if I went ahead with it. Fair. It turned out a breaker needed to be reset (I didn’t know where it was). He flipped the switch and reconnected my thermostat, then told me it cost $240 (he didn’t quote me before flipping the switch and plugging in the thermostat). I get that labor is expensive, but it felt like a bait and switch for a hour job. There was no repair. There was no part. It was flipping a switch. $240 is just absurd. They might be fairly priced for actual repairs, but I won’t be calling again.
Chris is wonderful. He’s always so helpful and shows me how things are supposed to work and how to properly maintain my system. He’s helped me in the dead heat of the summer and in the frigid times of winter with all my HVAC needs. I couldn’t thank him enough. He is so friendly and loves my dog too. I called this morning and they were able to have Chris come out today and get everything taken care of.
Had a great experience with Christopher who came out to do my A/C maintenance with REM Air. I have used them for 3 or 4 years now and they have kept Ol' Bessie running great! Christopher was very polite, clean, and quick. He came out when he said he would and didn't pressure me to replace or buy anything unnecessary. His handwriting is impeccable...I hate it when I can't read the paperwork. Well done!
My husband & I felt extremely fortunate that we chose REM AC company to repair our unit. The gentleman that came out was Chris Parks and he was EXCEPTIONAL!! He never rushed & explained what he was doing. He's been with the company 18 years and his work ethic and admiration for the company showed. I also interacted with three other people with the company and they were wonderful too. Chris Parks is one of those people who makes you feel good with his upbeat personality and kindness - you'll trust him. He left the garage area and outside impeccably clean. Thanks Chris.
