We are so happy with our experience here, we stopped in close to closing time, Julie helped us, she was very knowledgeable and gave us excellent service. All of there plants and trees are in great condition, prices were very fair. We saw many cherry blossoms on our road trip and wanted to take one with us on our way home. We were able to get one, over 6 ft tall with lots of leaves and flowers, $125 very great price. Whole staff was great, loaded everything on our trailer and made sure we got proper instructions and soil conditioner for our area where we are taking the tree. I also got some additional small plants, $2 each was excellent . We travel a lot and visit lots of nurseries, we have never had anyone make sure what we are buying will work for where we live. I highly recommend Riverbend, it's in a beautiful area of Tennessee, Only a couple miles off the freeway. Most of their plants are in large greenhouses. Totally organized, every plant has a tag with pricing and info about what zone it works in and what type of sun or shade plant thrives in. There were several people helping us, a taller guy, I didn't get his name, we didn't have to carry anything, and ended up leaving with several bags of plant food, ect and about dozen plants and trees. All quickly loaded into our trailer. Thank you Julie and Staff! We will definitely be back!
My wife, daughter, and I spent the morning perusing the nursery for a specific plant. Although we found it rather quickly our daughter was drawn to the array of colorful flowers hidden beneath the dew. Needless to say, curiousity made for soaked clothes and a wet diaper, lol. While my wife changed my daughter I was approached by Lynn Smith, the manager. Not only was she knowledgable about plants, she was also very open about her time here in the Nashville (we recently relocated from Atlanta). Throughout the course of the conversation she managed to stuff our bellies with freshly-popped popcorn and handed our daughter a mini pumpkin to boot. Honestly, if you live near the Franklin area or don't mind a drive, I would HIGHLY recommend making the trip. Thanks, Lynn. We really appreicate your hospitality and customer service!
I had been looking at mums and Fall plants. I stopped at Riverbend after checking two other stores. I was so impressed with their prices, quality, and selection. They had so many different colors of mums, all very healthy plants which were very well cared for. They also had pansies, cabbage, and pumpkins of all sizes and colors. Prices were great by comparison to other Spring Hill stores I checked. I would have given them 5 stars, but employees were not helpful or friendly.
This charming midsize nursery has beautiful, healthy seasonal flowers, produce and decor for your front porch and garden. Our grandson had fun showing us the pet parakeets near the checkout area which are his favorite part of this venue. We picked out some large chrysanthemums for the front porch and petted the sweet calico cat that lives in the hothouse area. We were told they supplied fresh cut Christmas trees last year. The staff were all pleasant and seemed to be happy to be working there. Highly recommend.
