They have fantastic choice of ready hanging baskets. Wonderful selection of heather and annual small plants. There is a small room with indoor things too. The only downfall is that I could never get any decent advice from the staff. My assumption of the staff- ladies in their 50s up- was that they would know/love gardening, and have a fair share of experience between them. But even the simple things I have asked (about the type of soil preferred, or how to adjust the ph of the soil for example) seemed to be too much to answer. Or I got completely wrong answer. I only needed confirmation that what I had read prior had been coreect- but no such luck. If you are looking for ready beautiful trouths or display pots- it's your place. Nicely done and reasonably priced.
Really good. Got everything we needed. The staff were friendly and gave us some good advice as we're not experienced gardeners. Recommend to anyone local needing a few plants or pots!
I'm not sure whether its fortunate or unfortunate that I live close to Riverside Plants... It's my go to place for plants and it's always well stocked with a great selection of the healthiest plants you can buy anywhere all at very reasonable prices. The downside is that I can't resist visiting and spending my money with them! Top marks all round.
I bought winter hanging baskets for the first time Oct/Nov last year and they have flowered their socks off for 5-6 months. I really can't believe it. They have given SO much pleasure, it's difficult to describe. It is now mid April and they are still going strong. They are very full, the container completely obscured, and with lovely pansy faces and cyclamen flowers lasting throughout. I had not expected the lovely bulbs that appeared at the top in spring, which were a bonus. I can't praise Riverside Plants enough. I also bought some gorgeous geraniums and lobelia last year which were just the right size and also a delight.
Un personnel très serviable (car je n'y connais rien en plantes). Une vaste variété de plantes à des prix très intéressants par rapport aux grandes enseignes. Je le recommanderais vivement. Des photos du jardin avant et après.
