Roto-Rooter is performing the fix and remediation for water damage from a pipe leak behind the shower. On-site, the technicians are great. It's fast and quality work and they know how to communicate with customers. The low star rating is for scheduling communication and not following through on promised time-frames. After first assessment of the issue, which occurred in the afternoon, they promised to be back first thing in the morning to begin work. Well, morning came and went without a call or update. I began calling, and was promised three different times that someone would call me back right away. Those calls also never happend. Finally, at 4:30pm, someone called and said a tech had an unexpected injury and nobody couldn't make it out that day. They did promise to start at 9:30am the next morning. I was promised this time by both a supervisor and a dispatcher. That time again came and went without a call or update. At 11:30am, the tech called and said they'd be there about 2:30pm. This time, they actually did show, though it wasn't until later. In addition, they needed to come back and check moisture levels every day. I would receive a call about 30 minutes beforehand and if I wasn't available, they wouldn't do the reading for that day. I don't know how a business runs this way. How disrespectful to your customer's time and plans. I understand things happen. And that's when you update the customer so they aren't left in the dark. A few timely phone calls and I wouldn't be writing this negative review. I can't recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone who expects a service provider to show up when they say they will. Update: It’s been eight weeks since they started and the work is still not finished. Not once have they showed up when they said they would. They ordered the wrong carpet, so as of today, there’s still exposed subfloor.

Roto Rooter was fantastic! The person I contacted was friendly and efficient. They were able to send someone right away and Grant was thorough, thoughtful and knowledgeable. He fully explained all options. I felt confident that he had my best interests in mind and he did a great job. Highly recommend!
I recently experienced a serious leak in my shower that left the water running continuously for six days because the faucet could not be turned off. Unfortunately, the maintenance team responsible for my complex did not respond to my repeated requests for assistance until I expressed strong frustration. Once they finally called Roto-Rooter for after-hours service, the technician arrived promptly and handled the situation with exceptional professionalism. He efficiently repaired the faucet that had been running for days, resolving the issue quickly and courteously. Although I misplaced the card with his name and number, I want to express my sincere appreciation for his excellent service. I would wholeheartedly recommend both him and Roto-Rooter to anyone in need of reliable plumbing solutions.
