Arleen helped with my purchase at the store, was very kind and helpful with answering questions that I had. Helped me through financing options. Purchased a nice sectional at a good price (Black Friday deal)! Sectional delivered & set up morning of 12/30. The delivery guys were awesome! They use a third party company but it was easy to set up, they just send you a link to your phone & you schedule the day that works for you. They hauled in the sectional and set it up where I wanted. The sectional is so far so good! It’s comfy, spacious and fits great in our area! My kiddo loves lounging on it to watch ms Rachel (LOL) Why this wasn’t a 5 star experience for me? The communication. I purchased the sectional in store on 11/26 and was told they didn’t have it in stock so they had to order it and have it shipped to the store. No problem, about how long would it take to arrive? A couple weeks. Sounds good! I was told they’d call me when it arrived. Well, that didn’t happen. I sent them an email morning of 12/24 (bad timing on my part with Holidays & all) asking for an update since I hadn’t heard from them at all and it’d been 4 weeks at that point. When they replied, they told me my order had been shipped in on 12/15 and was ready for pick up. I just feel like if I hadn’t reached out at that point they wouldn’t have ever called me to let me know my $1000 + order had arrived and was ready. We could’ve had a couch to sit on for Christmas! 😭 It was our first time buying from an actual furniture store and would purchase again from them but would probably have to remember to keep tabs on them about my order.
We purchased all of the furniture for our VRBO and have been very pleased. After a renter broke one of the hide-a-bed mattress assemblies, Joshua helped us get a new one ordered and described in detail how to swap it out for the damaged one. Highly recommend!
We have purchased from Royal Star for over 10 years and have always been happy with the service ans the product. Recently, I needed to buy one cushion for our sectional but I didn't have the purchase receipt and wasn't sure exactly how long ago we purchased it. Gene was very helpful in assisting me to figure out how to get a replacement. He had me text him photos so he could see exactly what I needed and sent me all the pricing. Turns out the couch was still under warranty and I was able to get the cushion replaced at no charge. I was prepared to pay but Gene worked it out for me. Thank you so much! We will continue to buy here....as long as you are open.
I bought a sofa from Royal Star Furniture. It didn’t fit through my apartment entrance, so I returned it myself. Their staff said they would “inspect” it and keep 15% of the price. Then they pointed to a tiny mark and said they couldn’t even accept the return without the owner’s approval. Very poor customer service — everything was friendly until the sale, but after that the attitude changed. I won’t be shopping here again.
Bought 2 twin mattresses for grandsons bunk beds. They had several in stock. Prices were reasonable. Employees were friendly and courteous!
