Everything about this visit exceeded expectations. The food was full of flavor, the staff was attentive and welcoming, and the amphitheater created an atmosphere that made the experience even more enjoyable. It felt well organized and memorable from start to finish.
Last night my husband and I dined at Ruth’s Chris to celebrate both Christmas and his recent retirement. For starters they seemed to have not had a table for us in spite of the fact that our reservation was made weeks ago, we were escorted to the back of the front dining room to a table set for 6 or 8? It was also obviously a room reserved for large groups. To the staffs credit they did break down the table to make it somewhat smaller and more suited for two, but due to the loud larger groups it was anything but an intimate or special occasion experience for us. The steak and lobster were very good as well as the service, The sides however, were awful. The creamed spinach was so runny it could not be eaten with a fork , I ended up eating very little of it by dipping some table bread into it. My husbands potatoes were literally swimming in melted butter and extremely salty, He barely touched them. We are no strangers to Ruth’s Chris. We have visited several in different cities and always had had a very good experience They used to be known for their sides. Not the case last night. We were extremely disappointed to say the least and I’m certain we will not recommend to others or return ourselves. The rest of the dining atmosphere looked lovely, it’s where we should have and would have liked to have been seated given the fact that it was just the two of us.
The entire experience was fantastic and the food exceeded all expectations. We started with the Lamb Chops and shared the filet with creamy mashed potatoes. Every bite was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, making it a truly memorable meal.
Wow!! Absolutely awesome dining experience!! The food was perfect. Highly recommend the filet mignon, sweet potato casserole, seafood gumbo, and the ravioli as an appetizer. Sydney, our waitress, was simply amazing and definitely blessed with the two angels Perspiration & Inspiration!! She earned two designations from us…….The Cat’s Meow & TheBomb.com!! Be sure to ask for Sydney when you go.
My first Ruth Chris' experience was amazing and I'll definitely return for more! Service was the best I've ever had, a big kudos to our server Demetra at the Huntsville Alabama location, I gave my number so that hes my server from now on!
