We had a wonderful experience with Safe Swim Academy. My two daughters (ages 5 and 2) took semi-private lessons, and the program was thoughtfully customized to each child’s comfort level in the water. The instructors met them exactly where they were, which made a huge difference in building confidence and skills. We saw especially great progress with our oldest daughter’s swimming abilities over a short period of time. Our instructor, Maddie, was absolutely amazing—so patient, kind, and attentive with both girls. She created a calm, encouraging environment that made lessons something they genuinely looked forward to. We would highly recommend Safe Swim Academy and Maddie to any family looking for high-quality, personalized swim instruction in the San Diego area.
I had a lifelong fear of water but was determined to finally learn as an adult. My experience with Safe Swim was amazing from start to finish. Monica reached out right after I created an account, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable signing up. My main instructor, Maddie, was incredibly patient and encouraging. I even asked her to hold my hand at first, and she never made me feel embarrassed. Thanks to her, I can now swim without fear/panic. I also had lessons with Emma, Kate, and Rosie, and they were all fantastic. Every instructor (even those I didn’t work with) here is supportive and kind. Highly recommend Safe Swim to anyone wanting to learn!
Safe Swim has been an amazing experience for my kids. The strides both of them have made in less than a year of lessons has been huge. The instructors are so patient and have gone above and beyond in working with my youngest who was afraid of the water when he started. Would recommend to anyone looking for kid swim lessons.
Safe Swim Academy has changed my kids lives for the best! The skills and confidence that our kids have gained have lead them to truly enjoy living by the water. They love swimming in pools, bay, and lakes. They know how to have fun and stay safe around the water. Our instructor is Meghin and I love how she pushes our kids to learn something new each lesson and keeps them focused. I feel each lesson is worth it and our kids walk away proud of what they have accomplished.
I love Safe Swim Academy! I’ve been taking adult swim lessons with Monica for over 3 months now and I can’t believe how much my technique has improved! I started out with learning how to control my breath in the water and I am swimming laps now on all 4 strokes! Highly recommended for any adult that’s just now learning how to swim, or wants to improve their strokes! The view from the pool is amazing too! I love it!
