We are very satisfied with the finished landscaping project. Viktor at Salisbury was great to work with from the beginning of the design portion to the walk through at the end. The people doing the physical work of the install were easy to work with and took time to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend Salisbury for any landscape work.
Absolutely thrilled! From the design, to the work, finding solutions to things that arose, designer Viktor and his crew were amazing. People stop by when we are in the yard to ask about who worked on this design for us. We wanted beautiful but easy as we are older, for our front and back yard refresh and it has made our yard shine! Update: A different manager contacted me after I had posted this review. She apologized for my experience with customer service and said that they would honour the poster. A week later the trees were staked and a gift card delivered in the mailbox as promised. We are satisfied with the result and hope the trees will grow well despite a rough start. You can see in my original review that my efforts in contacting the company about the issues were fruitless. It wasn’t until I posted this review that I was able to get a result. For this reason I have added only one star to my review for a total of 3 stars. I have also added a photo of a staked tree. Based on their response to this review with their commitment to do better in the future, I am hopeful that no one else will have the experience that we did. Original review: One of our trees suffered breakage during transportation or installation and the trees were not staked as advertised. Despite a Planting Services poster by the cashier stating that the price included staking as required, we were told, after a day of emailing photos of our tree bowed over to the ground, that staking was not included. One representative said that she was unaware of the poster and apologized. Notice that the poster has “Salisbury Landscaping” on the bottom corner. Her supervisor offered no acknowledgement of the misinformation and simply informed us that we could pay $40 more per tree to have the trees staked in a week or so. It's amazing that the landscapers thought that leaving the trees to prostrate themselves to the wind and rain gods was an acceptable outcome. There was no apology for the breakage, just an explanation that the branch (one of only 7 on the wee tree) could be pruned off. Chop chop! Our card was put on file in advance and was charged before we could offer any feedback. We paid $380 for transport and installation and rather than the joyful anticipation of fragrant blossoms and chubby plums for years to come, we're left with disappointment and a bad taste. We have jury rigged our own stakes in the meantime. Rent a truck and spend 20 minutes digging a hole yourself like we wish we had.
Lost our aspens to burrowing beetles. Salisbury came in and removed the stumps from the old trees and planted new towering oaks as well as a Japanese lilac in our front yard. Our artificial turf in the backyard required some adjustments due to old roots as well as our bubbling rock. Design by Viktor was great and the workers were hard working and conscientious Marcus, Alex and Liam thank you. Ken your guys were great
Le personnel est très sympathique et rapide pour vous aider à trouver ce dont vous avez besoin. J'ai pris quelques plantes d'intérieur cette fois-ci (en se basant sur leur récent billet de blog), et leurs Easter lillies sont magnifiques — toutes les fleurs étaient fermées, mais ont commencé à s'ouvrir chez moi dans les 24 heures.
