The lady who assisted me when I walked in was very welcoming and helpful. Sam came out as well before I left my jewelry and we discussed my concerns. The store was small although appealing and clean. They have a good location, fast turnaround, and helpful with my needs. Their repair was perfect, very well-priced, and Sam and his staff are friendly and straight forward. Don't get ripped off at the mall or big name places with bad vibes and prices and go to Sam!
I wanted to add to the numerous kind reviews of Sam and Sandy. They’re very professional, parking is $5 for 15 minutes nearby, and their work is perfect. I had two rings sized, and repaired my mother’s expensive diamond bracelet that had broken. For the repair I wanted to add my siblings and my own birthstones and asked him to do it the way he thought would look best. It came out truly lovely. My rings fit perfectly and you cannot tell where they were sized at all. In the bracelet photo, the colorful blue stone set of 3 is the addition and repair. I will go to Sam from now on, you can trust him with your jewelry. He also cleaned up the jewelry very nicely and sent me home with a lovely box to present the bracelet in to my mom.
Came by with a 22k gold chain for a repair & a 14k chain cross for polish/ clean up. The owner Sam was very helpful and gave me plenty of options to work with. Receptionist Sandy was also very polite and accommodating. Highly recommend and will definitely be back for future purchases and repairs. Exceeded my expectations look no further in the downtown LA jewelry district.
We are very happy customers!! 10/10 experience. Sam did an absolutely incredible job crafting our engagement ring!!! He worked with me all the way from the start - providing guidance on aesthetic design options all the way through choosing a stone cut and the final design. He was able to take our preferences and handcraft the most amazing ring - they are truly talented artisans that care deeply about the quality of their work. They made a hand-engraved band for our wedding ring that is absolutely stunning. I couldn't recommend this shop highly enough - if you are looking for a locally owned, affordable, and talented ring designer, Sam Boktor is your guy!
I had SUCH A WONDERFUL experience with Sam's jewelry repair! They fixed my ring which was a handmade gold ring from Ethiopia. My grandma gave me this ring over 10 years ago and I've worn it every day since. It had gotten some wear over the years and definitely seen better days (it was bent on the inner palm side, and a couple stems had broken off)... but the day I brought it in, it had finally broken off on one whole side. Sam and his team made it look brand new in a matter of days!! I am so pleased with the level of care, sensitivity, professionalism, and customer service I received and witnessed at Sam's as they helped me and other customers. They are now my go-to jewelry repair shop! I cannot sing their praises enough. Much much gratitude to sam and his whole team at the shop!! 💛🙏🏾
