The team at SASH Alexandria saved our dog’s life. Dusty arrived in critical condition after a traumatic accident and was not expected to survive the night. The emergency and ICU teams acted immediately, stabilised him, and supported us every step of the way with compassion, clarity, and care. Their communication was outstanding, their professionalism second to none, and the kindness they showed to both Dusty and our family will never be forgotten. Thanks to them, Dusty has undergone surgery and is now home recovering. We are forever grateful. SASH Alexandria is truly exceptional.
The Vets (Hannah, Ava & Sherilyn) and vet nurse (Mandy) at SASH are incredible, kind, thoughtful, patient centred and skilled. I will never return to another vet. They temporarily saved my baby after 4 trips to local Illawarra vets with no answers. They communicate frequently and kindly. I now get to spend hopefully two months with my best friend. From the moment we arrived, the team at SASH were welcoming, calm, and genuinely kind. It was also a lovely surprise to reconnect with a friend now working there, which immediately put me at ease. Dr Barry was extremely thorough, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure all my questions were answered. I walked out feeling far less stressed than when I walked in, which says a great deal about the care and professionalism of the team. I feel confident that Yume is in excellent hands and well supported as she moves into her new exercise and recovery plan. The focus on thoughtful, play-based rehabilitation was reassuring and very much aligned with her personality.
When my dog Frankie fell ill and needed urgent care at SASH, the team provided compassion and professionalism that meant the world to us. Their clear communication and gentle approach were incredibly reassuring, and they took the time to explain every step along the way.
I recently brought my cat in as a blood donor, and during the screening they discovered high triglycerides. If not for this visit, I would never have known and things could have easily gotten worse. I’m incredibly grateful to SASH and Dr Sherilyn Kee for their thorough care and for catching this early. Truly appreciate the team!
