Genuinely, I think I could only ever trust Stevie with my curly hair. She makes the entire experience so comfy and easy. My daughter also adores Stevie and always asks about getting her hair done at Saturn Salon. Tldr; Stevie is the besssssttttttttttt.
I’ve been going to Angela for over a year now and every haircut is always so good! She’s so fast and yet it always comes out looking amazing. I think she’s good at taking in a vision you communicate and helping edit it to suit your hair type and daily lifestyle. She’s also super fun to just chat with the entire time. Love her!
I scheduled with Shelby because of online word-of-mouth recommendations and now I'm here to join the choir! My hairstyle is *simple* but that doesn't mean the cut itself is *easy* -- and that has historically caused some, uh, trouble. Not with Shelby. She listened to what's gone wrong with past cuts, gave her honest feedback, proclaimed her confidence that I could have what I want, and then she DELIVERED. She offered such attention to detail, time and care, and absolute skillful precision. I'm delighted. I have to also throw in some praise for the space itself, too: the salon has a really gentle, calm, quiet, inviting vibe to it. Truly, five stars all around.
I had honestly never been fully satisfied with how stylists have cut my hair before until I visited this salon. Shelby Rippy did such an incredible job, and even weeks after getting my hair trimmed by her, I am still marveling at how bouncy and healthy my hair looks. She did exactly what I asked for and I could not be happier with the results. I will definitely be coming to her for all my future haircuts. Thank you so much! The salon itself is also beautifully decorated with lots of natural light, and it was just a great experience overall. I highly recommend Shelby for anyone with curly hair. I also want to mention that I was injured a few years ago and ended up with a few herniated discs, so laying down at hair washing stations is usually painful for me, but the hair washing stations at this salon are super comfortable with soft neck cushions, and I felt no discomfort getting my hair washed. For anyone who also experiences neck pain while getting their hair washed, you can trust that the staff at Saturn Salon STL will take good care of you. Thanks again! :)
Really nice salon in the grove. There is no designated parking, just street parking, but so far I have not had any issue finding a spot nearby since the salon is located on the corner. There is no automatic door, but no steps to enter. They offer refreshments, and couches while you wait. The wash stations and chairs are nice. All the stylists are really great. Chelsea fry is amazing. I let her know about my fragrance sensitivity and she used a shampoo that was only lightly scented and it was great.
