Had my wedding 7 yrs ago. Someone just made a joke about how bad the food was. People literally still talk about it. Every holiday, every wedding, really any gathering. She had another event earlier that day was short staffed and I got the crappy end of the stick. The food was terrible! The food we had at the tasting was not what she served on the biggest day of our lives. We were so excited. Every vendor at my wedding was a hit, except sauceys. No apology, no discount nothing. When i posted my review after on a dfw fb wedding group she even went as far as to post a Pic with me and her BEFORE I ate the food (which I ate late bc brides barely eat). The chicken was dry and it tasted old, the green beans at the tasting had sauce and bacon, we got ones straight from the can. It was crazy. It was so bad People went to the McDonald's down the street on the way home. Took her to small claims court. She didn't show up. Please do yourself a favor and stay FAR away and book another caterer.
If you are looking for delicious food with an amazing staff I highly recommend Sauceys Catering! Amily and her staff go above and beyond. Not only is the food delicious but their presentation/setup is beautiful! They catered for my son’s prom and just recently they catered for the company I work for and everyone loved the food. One more thing I have to say besides the entire staff being so professional and kind they also make sure that at the end of your event the kitchen is clean and they even pick up plates/cups from tables and throw away the trash. They really do go above and beyond. Thank you Amily and Staff, can’t wait to book with you again soon!
I cannot say enough AMAZING things about this catering company! From start to finish, they went so far above and beyond that it honestly felt like we had close friends helping us rather than just hired vendors. I was planning my daughter's birthday party and had a lot of back-and-forth trying to figure out the perfect menu. They were so patient and kind throughout the whole process, offering helpful suggestions and working with me every step of the way. Not only did they give us an incredible deal with tons of discounts and thoughtful freebies, but their service on the day of the event completely blew me away. They showed up early, helped us carry everything in and set up, served food with the warmest smiles, cleaned up like total pros, packed up ALL the leftovers beautifully, and helped break everything down as if it were their own event. Who does that these days?! Every guest commented on how delicious the food was, and multiple parents (even just those dropping off or picking up kids!) asked for their information because they were so impressed. This team didn’t just cater our party—they made it a success. Their energy, professionalism, and kindness were next-level. Honestly, they are charging WAY less than what their service is worth. I almost feel guilty for getting such amazing service at the price we paid. If you're even thinking about hiring them, do yourself a favor and lock them in now. You won’t regret it! Thank you a million times over for making my daughter’s birthday unforgettable. You’re truly one of a kind.
I absolutely love Saucey's Catering. The food was amazing, so delicious! They provide the best service and great tasting food every time. The staff is friendly and nice. They will go the extra mile to accommodate a request. Highly recommend.
I was fully prepared to book Saucey's for my wedding, however their communication with me was very unprofessional. I had to email several times just to get a response. I finally got a hold of them and we scheduled a tasting and they did not show up! My fiance and I waited 20 minutes there and kept calling and emailing them with no answer. Even days later I've heard nothing from them as to why they didn't bother to show up. If I can't trust them to attend my tasting how could we trust them to attend our wedding?
