We had such a great experience on the Scenic Boat Tour in Winter Park. It was relaxing, informative, and honestly one of the best ways to see the area. Cruising through the beautiful chain of lakes and canals gives you a totally different perspective of Winter Park—quiet, peaceful, and full of charm. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely entertaining, sharing interesting history about the homes, the area, and the wildlife along the way. We saw stunning lakeside houses, lush greenery, and even some wildlife, all while enjoying the calm of being out on the water. The boats were comfortable, the tour was well-paced, and it never felt rushed. It’s a perfect activity for visitors and locals alike—great for families, couples, or anyone looking for a laid-back but memorable experience. We’d absolutely do it again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Winter Park.
Lovely experience exploring the lakes and canals in Winter Haven. Dave, our captain, was informative and funny! Beautiful sites on a sunny day! Arriving early makes a huge difference (we were on the 3rd boat at 10am).
Excellent!! Some tips: -cash only -busier when the farmers market is happening - recommend getting there by 12:00 they’ll give you tickets and tell you when to return Beautiful tour over 3 lakes, windy canals and breathtaking homes. Our guide was wonderful! They run on time too which is nice!
It was the nicest sunny day and we rushed to get the boat tour before 4 o clock! Everyone was friendly and we were able to get on the tour. Was worried about being cold but it wasn’t cold at all. The scenery was beautiful and Skipper Mickey was the best. He talked about the lakes, the history and all about the people who built the area. The scenery of Florida is on display as we were all able to enjoy the wonderful day . Definitely recommend this attraction and a day out in Winter Park!
Really enjoyed this scenic boat tour! The views of the houses were beautiful, and the commentary made the whole experience even better. The guide was very comical and laid-back—he kept us laughing the whole time with his jokes and stories while also sharing the history behind the houses. It was both funny and interesting, and he definitely kept everyone engaged. I’d definitely recommend this tour if you’re looking for something fun and relaxing to do.
